"Disappointing Experience – outdated Information & Poor Maintenance I had an unhappy experience at this resort and frustrated by the beachside pool is already removed. 1. About Beachside Pool & Shuttle Service One of the main reasons I booked this resort was the beachside pool and restaurant, with a shuttle service to access them. It is published by many influencer and most of the video at YouTube. However, when the day we want to visit the beachside pool, hotel still arranged a shuttle to the beach, but upon arrival, we realized there was no pool. This caused a major inconvenience because without the pool, we had nowhere to stay comfortably, and calling a shuttle back was extremely difficult. We were stranded at the beach and had to rely on a nearby café to help us contact the hotel for pickup. This was a frustrating and stressful experience. And during standing at the beachside and shocked that there are no pool, we call back to the hotel by the help of cafe staff. We were told that the pool had been removed last year! There was absolutely no notice about this on the booking site or even on the hotel’s official website. 2. Severe Ant Infestation in the Room The room had a serious ant problem, with ants crawling on the walls. I reported this in the afternoon, and housekeeping came to clean, but by night, the ants came back. I requested a room change, but since my parents were in the neighboring room, they could only offer a room in a different building, which was inconvenient. As a result, I had to endure the issue for another night before changing rooms the next day. 3. I change to a new room facing the Main Street in the last day due to ant. However, another issue happened since that room is closest to the event hall. And during the Friday night I Stay, Dole is having an annual dinner here. My room can hear clearly the base from the speaker. It end about 2300 and finally my kid can fall to sleep. Overall, this was a disappointing stay. Their should be notice and announcement about the poolside bar had been removed. I trust this is one of the main attraction for many from watching Facebook or blogger. For the poor room maintenance made (ant issue) the experience is frustrating. It seems only happened on the several room (or only the room I stay?). There are numerous of ant climbing across the wall, the pic attached is not showing the actual disaster and i had taken video for record. However, the service and professional level of all the front desk staff is excellent. They try the best to help and solve my issue, with patient and kindness. Big thanks to them."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Wonderful 3D2N Stay at Hua Hin Grand Plaza Hotel We had a fantastic 3-day, 2-night stay at Hua Hin Grand Plaza Hotel! From the warm welcome at check-in to the moment we left, everything was smooth and enjoyable. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning was excellent, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was very good—with a nice variety of options to choose from, including both Thai and Western dishes. Everything was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. It gave us a great start to our days exploring Hua Hin. The location of the hotel is also a big plus. It’s conveniently close to night markets, restaurants, and the beach—all within walking distance. The pool was also a great place to unwind after a day out. Overall, we had a really pleasant experience and would happily stay here again. Great value, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast—highly recommended for anyone visiting Hua Hin!"

"Good location with private beach area, I'm happy for the sun bathing at the beach front. There's split area between residence and hotel but the parking was very limited especially during long weekend that mostly family visitors travel by private cars. I'm fulfilled my activities here like beach run, gym (even small spaces), sunbathing."

"The hotel front desk service was very friendly. Although he upgraded my room, it is an old hotel overall. But one thing I was very satisfied with was that the floor was very clean. I didn't feel any dust when I walked on the floor barefoot. It was a non-smoking room, bu the **** smoke from next door is getting into my room. The location is also good, whether it is going to the night market or the traditional market, some attractions are not too far away."

"The hotel is well located in Hua Hin. The room is small but clean. However the staff at the front desk are not very useful. Their service is barebones and they tend to not reply with much curtesy. The pool itself is very basic. Theres only 3 chairs to lie down otherwise you have nowhere else to sit. The water of the pool is full of chlorine. Overall the hotel is expensive for what it is but it is clean and well located"

"A good home hotel. The location is wonderful. Right on the seashore, away from the noisy road, but at the same time in the city center. Within walking distance of a shopping center, massages, shops, a night market. The room is large, in a colonial style. Everything is there: slippers, robes, flip-flops, umbrellas, a free minibar with water and soda. Breakfasts at first seemed meager, but it turned out that every day the dishes were different, so there was no time to get bored. There were always 4 types of fruit. They consistently gave waffles, pancakes, eggs (fried, boiled, scrambled, omelet), yogurts, bread, cheese, salads, rice, sausages and ham. The hotel grounds are very cozy. There are ”houses” where you can lie down, sun loungers by the pool and the sea. The cat Ryzhik creates a special coziness, he is very sociable) Cons. It would not hurt to update the textiles, umbrellas, cushions on the sun loungers, remove all the leaves. Plus a huge minus for us, which literally forced us to move to another hotel, although we really liked everything else. During our stay, repair work was underway on the decking near the beach. They buzzed all day, and very loudly. It was impossible to sleep by the sea and relax. The hotel only had an apology in the form of an inscription on the sign. Plus, for some reason, they turned off the water in the entire hotel once, as well as the electricity. In general, we recommend the hotel if there are no repairs there at that time."

"I was disappointed by this hotel. It was supposed to be a chic boutique stay but turned out everything was very mediocre. We asked to borrow the ice bucket. They forgot. We wanted to go out at night and come back but no one was attending at the gate . We needed to figure it out by ourselves. Turned out they were having a staff party with zero staff member on stand by. They tried to make it seem like a private place before you entered the gate and everything. After we spent two nights there, we were sure it was because they were understaffed and didn't have enough customers and we understood why. Plus, very important: no beach access."
