How can I describe it? I stayed for three nights and upgraded to a water view room. I was immediately stunned by the beauty of Seattle. Everything exceeded my expectations. I look forward to coming back on my next trip.

The location of the hotel is really great. Pike Place Market is right outside the door and Target is opposite. It's very convenient for shopping. The room facilities are good and hygienic. The only thing is that the view on the second floor is really... just a wall... and the pigeons have been cooing at night, so I can't sleep well.

To the point, this hotel was awesome! The bed was so comfortable and the location was perfect, close to everything. Pike Place Market was around the corner and we were super close to all public lines of transportation. I think the thing that stood out the most was their customer service. They have 24 hour desk agents which I loved and the moment we arrived and were greeted by Aracely, we felt like royalty. Aracely was so friendly and had a positive attitude no matter what we requested and made us feel like family. We stayed several days and every time she saw us she waived and asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. We requested our room to be cleaned off cycle and they were there in 5 minutes, we requested a box fan and they found one for us, we needed a vase for the beautiful flowers we bought at the market and they found one and sent it right up. Excellent customer service all around!!

With travel things happen. Today it happend to us. Our flight got delayed and we arrived at The State hotel just before midnight. We are checking in and Noah at the desk informed us that we did not have a room. However with genuine positivity and sincere apologies he informed us that he had already sorted out an upgraded room for us at their other hotel. Everything was handled and he even paid for our cab fair out of his own pocket! That's class. Customer service is not a question at this hotel, it is who they are, and a very positive experience at the Marqueen Hotel with very friendly staff. The issue was solved and seemless. Customers for life now.

The State Hotel is located in the middle of everything downtown. Short walk to the market and Benaroya hall. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice walk in shower. The best part though was the staff. They were friendly and helpful. Thank you. We will be back.
