Location: Guests frequently praised the hotel's excellent location, which offers easy access to Seattle's attractions like Benaroya Hall, Pike Place Market, and the Space Needle. The centrality and proximity to public transportation were significant benefits.

The email informed me that the hotel would make noise due to renovations. I would stay one night and leave the next day because I arrived at night, so I thought it would not have much impact, so I was not happy to change it. I didn't expect that it was not just a little renovation after I arrived, but a big fuss. There was only a small bar in the lobby, the corridor smelled like burnt wires, and the safe in the room was covered with a thick layer of dust 😡; there was nothing, not even a hair dryer! Since the room can be sold, regardless of whether it is decorated or not, at least the room cleaning and facilities should be up to standard! This is a room for 2,300 a night. 10 days later, I checked into the Seattle 1000 Hotel, which was 600 cheaper a night, and they even made a night bed and had a kettle 😂. Hilton Group is better than InterContinental Group!

Pet-friendly and free of pet occupancy fees. The rooms are large and comfortably furnished. There is a free tea bar in the lobby for self-service
You can only use valet parking for parking, which is really expensive.

Great location, newly renovated rooms, clean but this place under-delivers in service. Understaffed, unengaged, socially avoidant employees. Consistently no valet or valet disappearing for 20 minutes at a time, valet never at the valet stand (have to go look for someone who you think might be the valet so you can get your car), no valet system (text in advance for car, and yet valet is the ONLY parking option at the hotel. I could say very similar for front desk experience. Whichever executive oversees Guest Experience for Kimpton Monaco Seattle is seriously missing the mark. Similar hotels with same price are abundant in the area. Only book here as a last resort.

Our family visited Seattle and chose Kimpton Hotel Monaco for the last leg of our stay. Although the hotel is undergoing major renovations, that was never an issue. Every employee we interacted with was exceptionally courteous and helpful. The restaurant, Marin, is delicious, with an excellent staff. The hotel is in an excellent location. Upon leaving, I accidentally left a very sentimental and special item. The staff was extremely helpful in locating it and getting it back to me. Should we ever visit Seattle again, we will definitely stay at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco again!

I have stayed at this location in the past and it was FABULOUS! This time was just ok. The pet policy is perfect which is why I stay at Kimpton hotels! This hotel had been cute and had beautiful wallpaper and was cozy before but not anymore. They have remodeled the rooms which are drab and cold. Removed all the lovely paper and lighting. Whoever designed the rooms missed the mark. Two small pictures above one bed was so weird. We were poling forward to the cozy atmosphere we had before hit it’s ruined now. The front desk is also extremely confused. I prepaid and they tried to double charge me again. Like I said the pet policy is awesome but I think we will try another location next time. It’s too bad the cozy rooms are gone.

As a loyal Kimpton customer, I'm incredibly disappointed with my recent stay at the Hotel Monaco. I strongly advise against staying here while the lobby is under construction. Upon arrival, I discovered the entire lobby was a construction zone, significantly impacting the hotel's amenities. To make matters worse, I was assigned a subpar room. When I requested to transfer to another Kimpton property not undergoing renovations, the hotel refused a refund. Their only concession was to comp our parking, which felt like a pretty paltry offering given the circumstances. While a tiny notice about the construction was apparently posted on their website, it was easily missed and not clearly communicated prior to my stay. This lack of transparency, combined with the dismal conditions and inflexibility, made for a truly frustrating experience. I've always loved Kimpton's Hotel Monaco properties, but this particular location falls far short of the brand's usual standards. There are many other hotels nearby that would offer a much better experience.

The climate controls didn't work in our room so it was incredibly warm, when we called down to the front desk they kept saying they were sending someone up to fix it and no-one ever came up. We also booked our room with a crib for our baby and it was missing so many pieces including the mattress that it was unsafe to use, they didn't have any spares so I had to sleep on the floor with the baby. everything in our room was just a little bit underwhelming, the internet was extremely slow, the shower water pressure was very soft and the hotel towels must have been original to the building because they were scratchy and not soft at all. This was our second stay at the Kimpton Monaco, we stayed here about ten years ago and had a great stay and great time, I'm not sure when this place started going down hill but I won't ever stay here again!

We booked our room quite some time before arrival. Tho one told us we would be in a construction zone. They are building an awning over the front entrance. They need it. We got soaked when leaving in the rain. The lobby and adjacent area were under construction. We came in one night from dinner to find the floor covered with plywood and a big sizzer lift going up to remove wall covering. Bathroom was quite nice as was the bedroom area. Nice bedding including pillows. I believe our room had been recently refurbished. There was a middle room with a sofa and a second big screen TV, The lighting in this area was very poor. I had to drag my luggage into the bed area to find something. When we checked out we were charged a "Guest Amenity Fee" of $25 per night plus tax. Supposedly for a glass of wine which I was certain they said was complementary and a workout area in the basement which I didn't even know existed. There was no way to op out of this fee. If that is the case it should have been added to the cost of the room. I find these fees to be very deceptive and annoying. Staff was very nice and helpful.
