Trinity Guest House

Worst experience! I haven't received the email with the key code yet. When I managed to reach the responsible person, they sounded frustrated on the phone, as if it was my fault they hadn't fulfilled their responsibilities properly The advertisement was ambiguous, and I wasn't aware that the bathroom was separate. Additionally, the room wasn't clean, and the towels provided were dirty, so I had to get my own. The heating wasn't functioning, and it was uncomfortably cold. I had to sleep with a hoodie, but I was still cold.

Its ok Lee seemed nice that owned or run it but we never meet him just talked on the phone and was willing to let us stay a few hours over check out time for free which was nice of him But the shower head was really dirty it was that bad the water only come out of half of it the hole bathroom wasnt that cleane too and there was half of loo roll oh and not hot water it did warm up for about 10 minutes so we didnt shower all weekend just washed in the sink cos that had hat water The bedroom when you walked in looked ok but not worth the money as its dated and there was a bigs water or damp patch on the ceiling it was a a lot of money for what it is

After driving for five hours to get to this Guest House I was unable to gain entry after ringing the bell several times and phoning the two numbers on the email. I did not have a key code to enter because it had not been sent to me in advance. Eventually a resident from upstairs came down and said he would try to contact the owner. (Two days later I discovered that the owner was on a plane to Spain the time of my arrival and did not seem to care that I had been unable to get into the Guest House). While I was waiting for this resident to return, two female neighbours came over the road to speak to me separately. Both told me not to stay there because that had been incidents of domestic violence twice recently, and police had been called. They advised me that as a single female it was not safe for me to stay there. I left and went to find another guest house. There is a really nice friendly warm and welcoming Starfish café on the ground floor, which has no connection to the business on the floors above. The Starfish cafe owners are really sick of people coming down to complain that there are no clean sheets or that there is not enough toilet paper when it is not their problem and they have no connection to the business above. I can recommend the cafe. It would seem that this is a contractors’ residence where Workmen with vans stay overnight when working in the area. I entered with a workman (two days later) and saw his basic single room which was clean and had clean sheets and limited facilities. He also had difficulty gaining entry. No food is provided on the premises, but is available downstairs at the separate Starfish business and elsewhere locally.

I had a lovely Stay here, Up on the Top Floor. Very private room with entrance Hallway and Ensuite. Very close to the Train Station, I used it as a Base for lot's of Day's Out. Friendly Staff and Clean Room's
