Pour une nuit seulement
Déception à l'arrivée, le palace n'était pas du tout ce que nous avions imaginé. Le lit était très mou, donc deux mauvaises nuit. La decoration du soi-disant Palace était très éclectique et pas du tout de bon goût. Pour le petit-déjeuner nous avons du le prendre à l'extérieur dans un palace qui pour le coup portait bien son nom, nous aurions préféré celui-là !!! Attention, en pleine saison la plupart des chambres doivent êtres très bruyantes de par l'activité nocturne de la ville.

A very comfortable stay in the heart of Scicli
Lovely old hotel with a lot of character. We were only there for one night but had a good night’s sleep. We were late to check in but there was good communication with the representative who very kindly waited for us (for a fee for late check in after 8pm). They were also very kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases at their office for the day whilst we e loved Scicli which was and chanting little town.

Een balkamer met piano, schitterende locatie en zeer centraal. Zeer smaakvol ingericht. Gratis parkeren voor de deur. Soepel inchecken, heel fijn ontbijt bij een ander palazzo op paar minuten loopafstand. Het mooiste logeeradres voor een redelijke prijs in Sicilie. Zou er wel een week willen blijven. Je voelt je de koning te rijk.

Charming old palazzo in the very heart of Scicli. High ceilings and authentic furniture. Only stayed for one night, but enjoyed the luxury. Very clean. Communication with our host was very good and they very kindly waited for us when we arrived late at night.

Esperienza unica in questa dimora storica posizionata in pieno centro storico a Scicli. Abbiamo soggiornato nella suggestiva Camera Sole, ancora con i decori barocchi dell'epoca, compreso un bellissimo lampadario di cristallo sul soffitto. Camera molto grande con un bel balconcino . Presente nell'anticamera un bollitore, pulizia perfetta e bagno dotato di tutti i comfort. Colazione a scelta o nel Bar di fronte al celebre "Commissariato di Vigata" oppure nello splendido Palazzo Favacchio-Patanè a base di prodotti locali preparati dalla cordialissima Gabriella e da lei presentati uno per uno. Tutto ciò arricchito dall'impeccabile e professionale comportamento dei gentilissimi addetti all'accoglienza, Eva e Guglielmo. Ritorneremo sicuramente

Le stanze sono davvero belle, grandi e comode. Siamo stati molto bene e il personale in generale è molto gentile. Lo chiamano albergo diffuso, perché le stanze non sono tutte in un edificio, personalmente mi ricorda molto la formula AirBnB. 4 Stelle invece di 5 per la colazione. Ti fanno un buono per un bar, che ha solo ed esclusivamente cose dolci - no toast, no spremute, no frutta, no yoghurt, solo robe molto dolci - e il personale del bar mi è sembrato anche poco ospitale. Ci siamo lamentati con l’Hotel è solo dopo ci hanno informato che c’è la possibilità di fare un brunch a 6 Euro a testa (il che sarebbe potuto andare bene, solo che ormai eravamo lì). Nulla di grave e alla fine siamo andati in un altro bar dove ci hanno dato quello che volevamo, chiaramente lo abbiamo pagato extra.

Located on a side street but convenient to historic center of Scicli, the Palazzo Montalbano is a small boutique property with very spacious and clean accommodations, refreshed bathroom, and a communal outdoor patio as well as shared “living room” which offer additional space to spread out. Breakfast is provided at nearby cafe where “front desk” operations are located. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Be advised that restaurant located directly below can be noisy on weekend nights.
