Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough by Compass Hospitality
3.6/5108 Reviews
Sadly had three rooms due to some issues reguardless how clean they were and a smell coming from the bathroom, third room was ok and had a nice view over looking the sea and Scarborough harbour, pool and spa a nice touch and the staff were all friendly plenty of choice on the menu for food, just needs to address a few issues to make this worthy of it's 4 star rating and that to me should be considered luxury where as this felt more just above average but not luxury 3.5 / 5 location amazing staff amazing let down by the fire alarm going off which steam was to blame air vents were dirty this needs looking at, house keeping need to work more alongside maintenance to ensure issues are addressed. Safe in second room was broken but maintenance did sort this and were very friendly, reception and spa staff all excellent, can't comment on the food but had plenty of choice and had we not made plans we would of considered the curry night the hotel had on. Over all 3.5 / 5
Bike & Boot Inns Scarborough - Leisure Hotels for Now

Stayed here mid August 2024 for a gig that was on in Scarborough. Stayed in the attic room. Bit of a trek to get to the room as the hotel is quite big (but that’s my fault for choosing not to use the lift!!!) Really nice place, staff were great, I had to ask them a few questions and they had the answers instantly and were able to help me. Plus loads of parking nearby and the hotel gives you a pass so you don’t have to pay.Room was really good, big and clean. Bar is a bit pricey, but if you are not drinking there, not a problem. Would stay again
The Chapel House Hotel

We had room 3 which was quite large as was the bathroom. The shower was over the bath so quite handy for us both. A bit noisy due to the road but ear plugs were provided. Tea/coffee was provided and replenished daily. Due to the high turnover of guests the room was tidied every day and if we asked for anything it was provided straight away. The building is old and needs some attention but nothing too major. Breakfast was Wednesday to Sunday but as we didn’t have breakfast there I cannot comment on it. We only used the bar once as I only saw it open a couple of times and it closed around 9pm.The only downside for me was the lack of evening meal. There is nothing much around the hotel where you can get food ( except for takeaways and chippies)The location is good if you don’t drive as the bus service is quite good. The staff were lovely and friendly as was the owner and all in all we had a nice time at the Chapel house Hotel.
