Great location and friendly staff. Only down side is that it’s very noisy due to lack of sufficient soundproofing.

The hotel has the feel of a boutique hotel without being particularly small. We found the room cosy and comfortable and warm with a nice sea view. There is a coffee making machine in the room and a kettle but there is also free coffee in a lounge downstairs with free cake at 4 pm. The restaurant has sea views and breakfast was fine. The hotel is in an ideal location with a lot of attractions nearby. We plan to go back sometime in the future.

Very welcoming and kind atmosphere. All staff were lovely. There's a mat and a doggy toy in the rooms, water bowls and treats everywhere. The chef came and gave all the dogs bacon when they'd closed up the restaurant too. I had steak in the restaurant and it was the best I have ever eaten. No gristle and cooked perfectly. In the wadobi there's also a proper dog bath and blow drying station with towels at no extra cost. A godsend when visiting the beach. Loved our time here. I went solo with my dog and didn't feel out of place. Had some lovely chats with some other guests and I will 100% be back next year. Only very minor negative for me was that I'd booked late check out, but couldn't get into the wadobi or my room with my key card when I returned my last morning. It was sorted quickly, but unfortunately then I didn't then have time to use them before checking out. If you want a full english breakfast then don't add the breakfast to your stay. It's very clear what they offer when you book. Free parking was a highlight. Outside was closed by the council when I went so had to find a space elsewhere. The bays in the crescent are very tight if you have to park up there.
