Positive aspects: new structure, nice pool, cleanliness, large spaces…. Stop Negative aspects: zero welcome upon arrival, we are a family with 2 small children, the delivery of the room is at 3:00 pm, but saying make way, to avoid traffic we leave before we arrive at the hotel at 11:00 to take advantage (as they told us on the phone) to use their à la carte restaurant. Oh surprise!!! They stop us outside the hotel without even accessing the parking lot for security reasons (not even at the Bank of Italy with the risk of robberies) without using a bathroom, a little water and they tell us that the restaurant is full, from Rome (the future responds with an employee from Rome) vaguely indicates 2 bars in Scanzano Jonico that in Domenixa were closed. Outside, on the street, with 2 small children and nothing around but rejected by the hotel like refugees. We only asked for a bathroom and the possibility of buying a little water and fresh while waiting. First time something like this has happened to me. Inside you have to buy everything and you always have to carry money with you, because there are no payment methods that avoid carrying cash together and having to worry about bags and purses. There is no possibility of quenching your thirst unless you buy water (in all the villages at least water was included during the day). Restaurant: overpriced first courses, often over-seasoned second courses, badly laid out buffets, they only include wine of very low quality, no coke on tap, no beer (in all the other villages at the same price they were included). Cold water only from one station. No menu and labels on each course, dirty and unhygienic restaurant placemats (from a 4 star I expect tablecloths). Bar with dirty tables that are never cleaned during the day, there is no smoking area. Tired entertainment throughout the day, only the evening show is saved, Gianluca the village manager is a cut above the rest, I would say wasted for this resort. You leave the room at 10:00 with lunch included, but there is no changing room to get changed, in line with the initial welcome of being left outside on the street. The structure is beautiful, but there is really a lot to do about hospitality and providing true relaxation and feeling pampered and satisfied, and the management is more attentive to making sure you follow strict rules than to the true hospitality of a customer who wants to experience a holiday. I am sorry to say that today I would not recommend it to anyone. Next to the same village, there are structures that are much more complete and attentive in terms of services (Porto Greco, Torre del Faro, where I have been in the past years) ... too bad.
