Hotel location is excellent inside the old town and close to many of the attractions in the old town. We had two rooms of which one was ok but the other was a bit dated and old.

Hotel Central is a grand, splendidly reconstructed place, its modernist furnishings contrasting with a turn of the 19th century facade. It’s located in the old city, on the edge of the tourist area to one side and the business district to the other. There is good local public transport to places of interest though many of these are within easy walking distance. The reception staff were lively, helpful and attentive. Sadly the restaurant is closed but breakfast is worth having: a good choice of hot and cold options.

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cette hôtel. Nous étions une dizaine d'amis. Nous avons de très bonne chambre avec de nouvelles serviettes chaque jours. La piscine est un grand plus surtout en période chaude, possibilité de faire un sauna. Le petit déjeuner est très bien fourni. L'hôtel est bien situé, au centre en ville à proximité des magasins et notamment du lieu historique de l'attentat de l'archiduc héritier François Ferdinand d'Autriche le 28 juin 1914. Un hôtel que je conseille vivement !

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Central. It is peaceful and relaxing. The bedrooms are nice, spacious, comfortable and clean. The double glazing keeps street noise at a minimum with music stopping at midnight anyway. I enjoyed using the pool and the spa facilities. There is a lovely breakfast included. The hotel is perfectly located close to the old town. What made this hotel special were the staff. There was a problem with my room, and it was resolved quickly and efficiently. Titiana, Diana and Alma were all fantastic in making my stay so special. A big thank you to them. Hvala!
