The accommodation in very good here, we had a Junior Suite with outdoor hot tub. The room was very nice, large and spacious and in immaculate condition. Breakfast was fantastic as was the service by the chap who brought it. The staff were helpful and helped in organising trips and restaurants. Cleaning service was second to none. A really nice restaurant 6 mins walk away we went to a few times. Downsides - it is a good 20 mins walk up steep hills to get into Fira centre and you would not want to do this, dressed up on an evening. Taxi service is good but adds £40 to your evening out. You do not have a sunset view, the photos are of sunrise, so if that is what you want and are prepared to get up early that's fine. If you want sunset views you need to stay on the other side of the hill. They do not have a room where you can shower and change if you are leaving later in the day after checkout in the morning so we had to book another hotel for a few hours so we could get showered and changed before we were picked up. I would have expected a 5 Star resort to have factored this in.

I have just returned from Este Luxury Suites and the hospitality was amazing! The suite was spotlessly clean inside and all the outside areas. We booked bed and breakfast and had a lovely selection delivered to our room each morning. 2 of our party had food allergies and they were catered for without any issue. They provided us with a taxi company recommendation to use when we checked in and they were very reasonable and reliable. If you stay here I highly recommend Anhydrous winery and Argo restaurant which were both walking distance and had lovely food and wine!

What a disappointment, we booked this hotel on the images of the rooms. On arrival it wasn't what we were expecting at all. We were here for our wedding and made staff aware of this. The suite we had wasn't practical at all not every executive like it says on the booking. Staff very rude and not approachable. We asked for breakfast to be brought at 9 to be told we couldn't chose as all the slots had been filled. We also asked if they had a room for my husband to get ready on the wedding day to be told no. Our family and friends were staying at el greco so spent more time there than at Este. We decided to book 2 nights at El Greco night before the wedding and the wedding night, they were exceptional nothing was too much trouble an even left us a congratulations note and a bottle of champagne. As with Este we didn't get a congratulations or even a smile. I wouldn't recommend este as it's in the middle if no where with 1 restaurant at the top of a steep hill which was beautiful but that's it. I would definitely recommend El Greco as it's more accommodating and a two minute walk to the town with plenty bars and restaurants. And the views are amazing unlike este as all you can see is a car park an slight glimpse of the sea but nothing special.

The suite is nice at first glance, but after a week more and more problems piled up. The roomservice took very long to get delivered (dish - chicken gyros with fries - over 1h). It also is required to pay the roomservice in cash, which seems very unusual and is inconvenient as the staff can't provide change right away, they need to go back and grab it or even ask if they can bring the change another day?!? The breakfast was good overall, but our meal preferences were sometimes just "forgotten" which might get very problematic for people with allergies. Also once the Nutella packages had a white mold-looking layer on top... The biggest issue we had was a suite-wide malfunction with the ac at night. We tried to contact the emergency number of the hotel but it was impossible to reach anyone, which left us with hours of missed-out sleep and frustration. So overall, too expensive for these types of mistakes

All I can say is Wow!!!!!!!! Fantastic suite. Clean and spacious. Breakfast is second to non!!! Delivery was on time everyday and delicious Well worth the visit. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The photos do not do it justice. High recommend this to anyone who wants a chill out

The positive reviews here align with our experience. The suites are clean and roomy, the concierge is helpful and happily at your service, the private pool is perfect, awesome views, filling and decadent breakfast, quiet location, walking distance from Fira center. Fira is the capital of the island, which is called Thira (or Santorini). I highly recommend renting a place with a pool in Thira, especially if you have small kids, because the island is not famous for its lovely beaches (although they are fine), some of which are not accessible by car, the bus service is less that perfect, and the taxis/private shuttles are out of this world expensive. Such a shame to spend most of your budget on transportation, no? The pool is nice and safe and clean, and right there outside your room. It also doesn't get wavy when it's windy -which happens a lot in the Aegean. If you are able bodied, take the least busy path to the city center (you go through the narrow cobblestone streets inside Fira's neighborhoods) -a great way to digest your meal :) Just avoid busy roads -cars go by fast and I wouldn't be surprised if drivers are drunk especially at night. Greece holds a shameful record for traffic accidents involving tourists every year - I believe the highest in Europe. Back to the hotel: it's worth it.

Absolutely amazing! The staff were beyond helpful! I went out here for a proposal! Hotel put me in touch with the most beautiful magical setting! Also helped with the surprise & a birthday cake that I’d asked about! Nothing was to much trouble! The resort is beautiful! Recommend getting transport! We hired a buggy and the hotel helped with this and delivered massively!! Breakfast- what can I say! OMG!! Amazing! Delicious every morning! You choose your time slot and it is bought to your room! We also ordered lunch some days which again did NOT disappoint! I cannot say enough about this stay & the staff! So friendly and caring! Highly recommend!

The villa was stunning and had everything you needed. Both rooms very spacious, and villa is tastfully decorated. Amazing views of the sea, good-sized pool and terrace. We had a fantastic breakfast every day, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Very tranquil area, can faintly hear rooster and birds at sunrise. It was great to come back to after a busy day visiting Fira and Oia. Fira town centre was a few mins in Taxi, and Oia was 30min on bus from Fira centre. Daily housekeeping with fresh towels is a plus. Would love to go again, all my family and friends asking for details after seeing my social media stories. If the pool was heated, it would have been a 10/10 experience. Unfortunately, we were not able to actually swim as it was still a bit too cold, even though the weather went up to 23°-24°. Managed to have a slight dip. I think a full-length mirror somewhere in the villa would be good.

This looks beautiful but on my arrival I was given a different room. I had booked the 2 bed executive suite but was given the supreme room ( smaller ) with cave pool. I questioned this and was told I had an upgrade!! This was not an upgrade as the room was smaller and the second bedroom with my 17yr old son did not have a door!! We were put in suite 8 which is directly next to the maintenance room where the cleaners and workers gather. They talk very loudly from 8am and during the night you can hear constantly the sewage, water and plumbing sounds in the main bedroom. It’s so loud I struggled to sleep. Thirdly the breakfast is good but when delivered they walked through our small pool area to deliver to the other rooms rather than using the other suites separate foot path. I felt this was quite intrusive as this was our own private villa and pool area. This was very disappointing all in all.
