À fuir absolument. J’avais envisagé de séjourner dans cet hôtel, mais plusieurs amis – dont l’avis est digne de confiance – m’ont formellement déconseillé de m’y rendre. Tous ont été unanimes : un service commercial catastrophique, une attitude désinvolte face aux clients, et une gestion qui frôle l’amateurisme. Le simple fait d’échanger avec leur service client m’a suffi à comprendre que l’expérience sur place serait encore pire. Dans une destination comme Santorin, ce ne sont pas les alternatives qui manquent : choisissez un hôtel où l’on sait encore ce que veulent dire accueil, professionnalisme et respect du client. Ici, c’est visiblement tout l’inverse. Une réputation en chute libre… méritée.

Une honte. Rien qu’en échangeant avec leur service commercial, j’ai compris : mépris total du client, incompétence criante, et arrogance assumée. Des amis m’avaient prévenu – j’aurais dû les écouter plus tôt : cet hôtel est une erreur monumentale. On est ici très loin des standards d’hospitalité que l’on est en droit d’attendre à Santorin. Si vous tenez à vos vacances, à votre argent et à vos nerfs, fuyez cet établissement comme la peste. Il y a mille autres adresses qui sauront, elles, vous accueillir dignement. Ce lieu ne mérite qu’une chose : qu’on l’oublie.

We had booked a room at this hotel from July 3rd to 6th. Unfortunately, due to an air traffic controllers’ strike, our flight was cancelled on the morning of our departure. We immediately informed the hotel at 6:30 a.m. We were clearly reassured over the phone: they told us not to worry and that we would be refunded or, at the very least, receive a credit. Since then: complete silence. We sent five emails, none of which received a reply. When we finally managed to reach someone — a woman named Helena, apparently in charge of reservations — she spoke to us in an extremely rude and condescending manner, and coldly informed us that we would not receive a single cent in refund. This is simply unacceptable behavior from a hotel that claims to offer quality service. They made a promise and then broke their word, treating us with utter disrespect. We feel cheated and scammed. One thing is certain: never again. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

Terrible experience with customer service – would not recommend I was planning a trip to Santorini and considered staying at Pearl of Caldera. However, several friends who had stayed there strongly advised me to book elsewhere — and I now understand why. The customer service was absolutely appalling. The commercial team was completely unprofessional, unresponsive, and clearly not equipped to handle guest relations properly. For a hotel that claims to offer a premium experience, the way they treat potential clients is unacceptable. Avoid this place and save yourself the frustration — there are far better options in Santorini with respectful and competent staff.
