Astra Suites

Our stay at Astra Suites was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed at the breath-taking vantage point the hotel has of the caldera. Not only was the hotel beautiful and perfectly located, the staff made our experience even better. George and his team were all so helpful and friendly during our stay. They give you the WhatsApp when you arrive and respond almost immediately to any inquiry or request. We were taken directly to our villa and given a tour of the property by George. He spent time to provide recommendations of dining and activities which were all spot on. Also he explained all the features of the villa we were staying in. We had a wonderful fruit platter and bottle of wine waiting for us. Our villa had an amazing patio with an infinity pool that provided breathtaking views of the caldera both during the day and especially during the sunsets. We could have just spent all day out there admiring the view and lounging in the pool. Alexandra helped keep our room spotless and brought us one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. You can order whatever you want from an extensive menu. It was brought to your patio at whatever time you preferred. Our favorites were the omelettes, pancakes, fresh fruit and fresh squeezed orange juice. We enjoyed lunch and a dinner at the hotel and both were excellent. The pool bar is great to visit as well with refreshing cocktails and great views of the caldera. We greatly enjoyed our time and found this hotel to be the best of all our stops in Greece. We will definitely be back.

This is our fourth visit to the amazing Astra Suites Hotel. We got married there 20 years ago and the last time we stayed there was 15 years ago. When we arrived Thai time we wondered if it would have lots its sparkle, its quality and its sense of wonder but it is actually better than ever. Brilliant service, outstanding food, and magnificent views. Can’t find the words to say how impressed we are with this place. Thanks to George and all the fabulous staff.

We absolutely loved everything about staying here! It has been a long time since we have felt like we have received over the top service. The entire team kept such great care of us! There is always a smile on their faces and a genuine desire to help in any way they could. Our room was simply amazing. It was private and secluded and looked right out over the sea. We found ourselves wanting to just hang out on our balcony morning, noon and night. Our room was kept immaculately clean, and we were served with fresh linen twice a day. Our morning breakfast was incredible and we ate looking over the sea every morning. We had an amazing dinner at The Five Senses Restaurant and Igor paired it with an incredible wine! Overall, our experience far exceeded our expectation! This was a total gem and we can’t wait to come back!
