Fantastic sunset view, excellent service but disappointing room which is old and unventilated. Needs a refresh to do justice to the price.

Generally it’s a bit disappointing, probably we thought Santorini would offer the service on par with its reputation as a tourist paradise.
The sea view was scenic and magical and the hotel located in a good spot where not many tourists can access so it was more tranquil than Oia.
However, the hotel room was not that great as expected. The amenities are a bit old and the designs were not thoroughly thought-through (eg the placement of the bed made people easy to trip and the lights of the bed were placed too low that hit our heads.
The staff may be too busy to remind us to order breakfast and forgot to make our breakfast so we had no breakfast except the leftover breads.

The room is a bit far from the town of Fira, but it's quiet and the facilities are sufficient. The only thing about hygiene is a bit worrying. The sheets on the second floor were covered in dirt. It felt like they hadn't been occupied for a long time and they hadn't been changed. The hotel is in a good location with a wide view. Breakfast is delivered to the room, and the variety is also very rich.

Hotel Ilioperato wybraliśmy oglądając zdjęcia i czytając opinie innych gości i to był strzał w 10! Przepięknego widoki na kalderę, zachody słońca, ktore moim osobistym zdaniem są jeszcze bardziej spektakularnie niż w popularnym Oia, spokój i cisza (umiejscowienie wysoko, nad Firą - do niej również bez problemu dojdzie się pieszo w ok.25 min). My mieliśmy pokoj z jacuzzi, ale dostępny jest rowniez niewielki basen - idealny do schłodzenia w upalne dni. Dodatkowo hotel jest czysty, zadbany, wystrój typowo grecki tylko dodaje uroku całej reszcie. Śniadania serwowane na taras, zostaną w pamięci jeszcze na długo. Miła i pomocna obsługa. Na pewno wrócimy.

The water in our room was dirty and a DARK disgusting brown. I wish I could post a video of it. The hotel refused to give a full refund. We have showered, brushed our teeth and cleaned ourselves with this water. My face broke out, my back broke out and my asthma worsened due to it. The towels are also very hard and rough. Would never recommend to anyone if you care for your health and wellbeing. You have been warned.
