What a fabulous small hotel. The location is stunning and the staff so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. We were up graded to a junior suite which was spacious and modern and had terraces front and back so there was always some shade. Breakfasts were made to order and delicious too. Thoroughly recommend.

Great location for a relaxing week away from the bustle of fira and oia. 15 mins walk into local village of megalohori which is traditional with some nice family run tavernas to eat Rooms well equipped with kettle and fridge Breakfast very good and can be taken by the pool or on your balcony- recommend the special omlette Shuttle bus into fira once a day and pervilios beach - saves battling with local buses Would recommend hiring a car for the day to see the island

Just stayed here for 2 nights, absolutely beautiful hotel and the views must surely be the best on the island. All of the staff go out of their way for you, nothing is too much trouble. The owners are kind and hospitable, Rena and the bar team are so kind and friendly, the breakfast staff are incredible and the reception team are welcoming and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back. A family run buisness who have completely nailed the brief.

Where to start.. The service was impeccable The food was good The view is insane and probably one of the best on the island, if not the best. We sprung for a room with a whirlpool and i would also reccomend this. Daily cleaning. The staff is very nice and helpful, they have trips to Fira daily for their guests, they sometimes even pick you up and drive you where you want to go. I will definitely never forget this experience and would reccomend this to anyone. We will be back!

This is our 4th visit to the Calderas Dolphin Suites and once again it did not disappoint - this is truly the best hotel in Santorini. The hotel facilities are outstanding and the service provided by all staff exceptional; from the hotel manager Kyriakos - who is always amazing to Vivi the chef and Irene the attention to detail, friendliness and service provided is fabulous. It was our wedding anniversary (we first visited here for our honeymoon) and my husband birthday during our stay and they surprised us with celebration cakes and really made both days special I can recommend this hotel highly enough - it truly is outstanding

Staff - very welcoming, friendly and attentive to every single request, as well as assisting with suggestions where to visit/eat/shop around the island Rooms - first of all, CLEAN! Very large with plenty of storage and seating space. Amazingly comfortable and large bed, TV has a respectable amount of channels. Nespresso machine (daily refiff if capsules) and kettle, along with the required glassware. Beautifully designed bathrooms and a huge shower as well! Breakfast - served in-room or at the pool-side bar. Ample options to choose from, and served at an hour of your choosing View - no words…the most incredible caldera/sea view, from every room…and the subset is simply breathtaking Location - perfect for people who prefer a stay in a calm/quiet area, yet only a short drive away from every type of attraction/hotspot around the island Pool - beautiful, perfect temperature, ample seating, beds and shade all around…and the caldera/sea view is nothing less than stunning Bar - plenty of snacks and fresh juices available, quick service and fairly prices as well Fitness - outdoor fitness has plenty of shade, and the constant gentle breeze allows to work out at all times, eeven when it’s hot outside

This hotel is located in a lovely quiet part of the island but with easy access to everything from the beaches to Oia and Fira. The hotel provide a free shuttle bus which is useful - could do with a few more times (like early morning) but local buses are easy and cheap to use. The staff are wonderful. Very friendly and felt like a family to us. They were helpful and provided many tips and suggestions for us on our stay and a bag of beach towels for the beach. Rooms are large, clean and cool. Great little tea and coffee making area and a fridge. Great powerful shower and plenty of space! All rooms overlook the Calder which is great for sunset but the balconies are quite small and uncomfortable. Breakfast is served daily to your room/balcony or by the pool. Great selection. I highly recommend the special omelette - so tasty and cooked very well. Pool area is quiet with plenty of beds and plenty of shade. Very very relaxing. Pool a little cold but great for hot days. We had lunch at the pool a couple of times and the food was reasonably priced and very well cooked. In fact the food was often better than in the restaurants in Megalochori (which btw is a gorgeous little traditional Greek town 10 minutes walk a way). There’s also a supermarket 10 minutes walk away which is useful. The hotel do provide bottles of water but these are only small bottles. They should really be big bottles or provide water for free as drinks are very expensive in the hotel (and Santorini for that matter). Would highly recommend this hotel if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle but still be near enough to enjoy it.

Recently, we arrived home after spending a week at this lovely little boutique hotel. Here are some plus and minus points to consider Plus points: All the staff have a superb attitude to its guests and bend over backwards to ensure your stay is of the highest calibre The hotel is situated 15 minutes walk from the local village and a prime spot for the caldera sunset. There are only 15 rooms so it's generally really quiet and peaceful There are plenty of shaded areas (a previous review stated that this was an issue). Maybe the hotel acted on this recommendation? The complex and rooms are spotless and maintained to a high standard. The hotel offers a daily free shuttle service into Fira and Perivulos, which saves you some money. Sebastian and Kiriakos are excellent. They have an extensive knowledge of the island, and they booked all the restaurants we chose for us. All staff are a credit to the owners The room was cleaned impeccably The facilities are enough for long stays and the food was very well prepared. The margarita pizza and the tuna salad are to die for. If you are salt intolerant, then remember to tell the chef no added salt as they use a bit to season the food after its cooked. The only issues I had was that our room #15, which is the honeymoon double, was Quite small, there wasn't much room to move around the bed when there are 2 of you getting ready. Also, the whirlpool is overlooked by the pool terrace above, so it wasn't that private, and guests going down or up the stairs in front could look over the balcony really easily. On 2 occasions, I had to ask the cleaner to move off the step outside our gate because her smoking fumes wafted onto our balcony and up my nose. The smoking area is not outside guest rooms, nor should it be allowed. There are only a couple of restaurants in the local village and not all of them have good reviews Lastly, and sadly, I found the cocktails quite bland. Compared to other restaurants and bars, the mojito and pins colada are weak. The aperol spritz are great, though. Despite these minor things, we would definitely book again, but the bigger room next time.
