Where do I start? If you are going to read one line from this review is to “stay away at all cost from this hotel”. We were supposed to sleep here for 7 nights and we left after 3. It was awful. Credit given where credit is due; the staff at the front desk are very nice, super helpful and can’t fault them. Upon arriving the hotel appears to be a swish boutique hotel. They have music playing out, you will walk past the pool and bar area, the lobby is blasting A/C and smells good. The problem starts when you get to the room(s). We booked a one week holiday for 3; my wife, 10-year old daughter and myself. We were given the room #30 at the top of the building. The stairs to get to the room can be challenging. The room was a superior room with a sea view. However, to get to the sea view you had to climb a small ladder out of a window onto the roof, again challenging. It was quite small room, the windows open onto the roof, so we could see all the solar panels, AC units, it felt like something could walk in if we left the windows open. The sofa bed for my daughter was too small, it wasn’t long enough for her. We had to call downstairs so they could make the sofa bed and as it had not been prepared ahead of our arrival. The WIFI didn’t work at all in this room. The toilet was dirty, the shower curtain stuck to one when showering - all a bit grotty. And I woke up with a back ache from sleeping in the beds, it wasn't the great start. After two nights they somehow moved us as apparently we weren’t supposed to have a sea view. Fine by us, we didn’t like the room anyway, so we were okay with this. Then they gave us room #25. initially felt better, the sofa bed was bigger and there was more space on the bedroom and more light. However, the WIFI was better but intermittently working. The bathroom was tiny and it smell diabolical, it was disgusting - even more grotty than in the first room. I slept on the sofa bed as my daughter didn’t want to sleep there. Again, I woke up with an even worse back ache than the previous days. That day we went on an excursion in the morning and decided to go back to the hotel pool for the afternoon. I was chilling on a sun lounger when the pool guy told me I couldn’t be there with a bottle of water that I had purchased somewhere else. He refused to go away until I hid the bottle of water. That was what did it for me. We decided to leave and booked another hotel down the street. Stay away from this hotel. Honestly, you will find way better ones along the same street.
