Echoes Luxury Suites

English: For our wedding anniversary we decided to increase our budget a bit and treat ourselves to a nice memory in a “caldera view” hotel. The choice was spot on as this accommodation (which is not a real hotel, but 5 suites, all different from each other and created from Greek houses nestled together, perfectly renovated and managed by Tasos, who is exemplary in his helpfulness and kindness) enjoys a unique view both in terms of caldera view and orientation to the sun (in the afternoon it is still fully sunny when the other houses in Oia are already in the shade). Each suite has a private terrace (where a splendid and unforgettable breakfast is consumed) and a private pool; the suites also enjoy excellent privacy as passage is permitted only to hotel guests and the public promenade is much further back (an excellent reason to prefer Oia to Fira, as well as for the less chaos of tourists). English: Our suite, very clean, equipped with a beautiful "king bed" was equipped with more or less everything you would ask for in a suite, only the size of the room and the services were not exactly generous, but as already mentioned, the terrace with sunbeds and the pool and the breathtaking view, made our stay unforgettable. The only small negative note (which only concerns the "premium suite") was the presence of a pump that remained almost permanently on and was a bit noisy and annoying. The connotation and structure of these Hellenic houses makes the path (but this is the characteristic of all of Santorini) full of steps (a warning to take into account if you have walking difficulties) and it is also the reason why there are no common areas (e.g. there is no real reception, check-in is done together with Tasos sitting on sofas with a sea view that are an enchanting business card), common areas which were not really missed.
