Nice and cosy rooms, perfectly clean. Staff is super kind and always ready to help, they will make you feel you are at home. View from the structure will leave you breathless, we will totally come back.

It's been 2 weeks since my stay at the Afroessa and I'm still dreaming of it. As soon as I entered the gate to the property, I thought "I should have extended my stay here." It was, hands down, the best decision I made about my trip to Santorini. The property is beautiful, the caldera views are fabulous, and my stay was truly restorative-- exactly what I was hoping this vacation would be. Thank you, Eddie and the rest of the Afroessa staff.

We throughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel, right on the caldera rim of Santorini. The views are amazing. One does not even need to leave to see the most wonderful sunsets! The rooms are set over 5 levels so there is always some steps to encounter to get from one's room to the pool or breakfast.But fear not, the staff carry your bags to the rooms from the entrance of the hotel. Amazing service. We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the caldera. 3 choices. Eggs, various ways, or Continental. Very well cooked and presented. Coffee was great! Light meals and snacks are available during the day. Rooms are perfectly maintained and spotless. The fairies seemed to clean our room while we enjoyed breakfast. So one comes back to a beautifully tidy room. Finally a shout out to Eddie who is the "Go to Man " He will fix most of your needs... Transfers,Dinner suggestions, coffees, and even cocktails watching the sun go down.All the staff are great! Great value hotel in Santorini. 100 % recommendation.

Our recent stay at Hotel Afroessa in Santorini was overall a delightful experience, with a few minor quirks. From the moment we arrived, the service was welcoming. A porter greeted us at the drop-off point and kindly carried our bags down the hill to the hotel, as it is perched on an incline. The general manager, Ed, personally welcomed us, which was a nice touch. He was friendly and professional, showing us to our room and explaining the hotel’s policies. The room itself was fine, though it wasn’t quite what we had expected. While it was comfortable and met most of our needs, the one drawback was the shower. It didn’t have an overhead stand, so we had to hold the showerhead while bathing, which sometimes caused water to splash around. Despite this minor inconvenience, our overall stay was enjoyable. Ed also took the time to suggest various activities we could participate in during our vacation, which was helpful. The hotel’s location offered stunning views, and the atmosphere was peaceful, making for a relaxing stay. One memorable highlight was the warm and friendly staff. We were particularly happy to connect with two wonderful ladies from Cameroon who work there as caretakers—meeting fellow compatriots from the motherland was a lovely surprise. In conclusion, Hotel Afroessa offers a lovely experience with personable service, even if the room facilities could use a small upgrade. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming place in Santorini.
