A medical emergency on the day before travel led to hospitalization for multiple days, so we could not travel (with the necessary medical evidence). Aware of the hotel's cancellation policy, we requested that our stay be postponed to a later date. Unfortunately, we received a short, rude response from the assistant manager declining our request without any acknowledgement of the emergency circumstances. No matter how beautiful the property or surroundings, it is not good to be in the hands of a management that seems to lack basic human empathy and values towards guests when there is an emergency.
