Zorbas Hotel Santorini

Does the job for a quick overnight before the ferry. Room was clean but didn’t look much like the photos advertised. Staff couldn’t have been nicer and were very helpful arranging taxis from airport and to the port very early. Wouldn’t suggest for a long stay.

Stayed here for one night before getting the Ferry to Paros. It’s in an ideal location. The hotel arranged transfer from the airport and to the port in the morning. The gentleman at reception gave us a packed breakfast and bottles of water to take with us. We really can’t fault the service we received it was great. Yes it is a basic hotel but you get what you pay for. Our room was clean and comfortable, we couldn’t of asked for anything more.

Ok for one night - we stayed for one night en route to IOS - the hotel arranged a pick up from the airport for €20 which took the hassle out of waiting for a taxi, which we was grateful for as we arrived late in the evening I cannot fault the young man on reception, he was extremely helpful and even ordered us gyros from the local restaurant to be delivered to us while we sat around the pool with beers from the fridge at reception! The hotel itself needs about of TLC - the rooms are basic and ours wasn’t that clean, the shower was awful but we paid €80 inc breakfast in July so for the price you cannot complain. The pool looked good and the hotel offered great views, but the outdoor areas do need a bit of attention - the breakfast was ok (coffee and toast but filled a spot) We probably would stay again but no longer than a night

We needed a place for one night before catching a ferry to Ios. The hotel organized a taxi from the airport (€20) and ran us down to the port the following evening (€10) Reception staff very helpful did offer to run my husband to Mythos restaurant but he was happy to walk. Room a good size and bed comfy. Bathroom very small like so many Greek bathrooms but clean, toiletries and plenty of towels. Pool was clean but area around a bit neglected. Had a major thunderstorm during the night. Right overhead with torrential rain. Some areas of the hotel flooded but very quickly cleaned up and breakfast on time. We'll done. Would use again for a nightstop

The property looked very different from the pictures that were advertised online. Everything from the reception to the guest rooms is very dated, broken and extremely dirty. We stayed at this hotel twice in the space of two weeks during our holidays in Greece. The first time we received a room that was partially sub-ground floor and seemed very unclean - the bathroom was dirty, the shower was not draining well and seemed very unclean overall. After requesting a better room for the second stay, we were given a guest room on the first floor, which felt like a little improvement, since it did not feel like a basement room, however, the room smelled very bad from the ventilation system and the bathroom seemed dirty and this fact made us feel very uncomfortable to stay there. The furniture in the room was flimsy and partially broken. The receptionists assisted us in booking transfers twice, once to Fira and once to the airport which seemed cheaper than the very over-charging taxis on Santorini, however we felt used and overcharged as we were charged 20€ for a 10min car ride to the airport done by the receptionist. When asking for a receipt for the payment we were not given one and after a discussion with the receptionist we were told that the hotel would e-mail us the receipt if we provide our e-mail address via ***********. Once I did that, the hotel cancelled our stays, which also deleted our message history with them and disabled the possibility to write a review on *********** about our stay. Overall, I am sad to say that the stay with Zorbas Hotel was very unpleasant due to its lack of cleanliness. This hotel sells itself as a four star hotel on Google but is worth one star only. Unfortunately a bad ending to a trip to Greece.

Only stayed for one whilst waiting for the ferry to Milos. Staff collected us from the airport at greatly reduced rate compared with transfer companies and arranged transfer to the port. Room basic but clean with comfortable beds. nice pool with plenty of sunbeds and free towels. breakfast basic but plentiful and they offer a meal of the day in the evening. Price very reasonable compared with other hotels. Will use again when we Island hop next year and fly gack from Santorini
