If you want to relax, be pampered, and feel like family, there is no better place to stay in Oia than Katikies Villa! We arranged with the hotel private transport from Santorini Port to the taxi stand in Oia. Hotel staff met us at the taxi stand and carried our luggage to the hotel property. We had a welcome drink upon arrival, got a brief tour of the facility and were welcomed to our rooms. The rooms were comfortable and had an outdoor jacuzzi tub overlooking the caldera. Breakfast was included in our rate and was a great way to start the day. We relaxed by one of the pools for several days as well. Altogether felt like a five star experience with exceptional staff and amenities. This should be your place to stay in Oia! We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful hotel on the other side of the caldera, but away from the cruise ship crowd. Charming rooms, beautifully renovated with modern amenities with old world charm. Excellent staff/service. The center courtyard is a gorgeous private oasis for your meals at Selena. Rooftop pool is a gem, sweeping views of the island. Highly recommend.

Katikies Villa is an amazing hotel. It offers splendid comfort, lots of privacy, great swimming pool with magnificent view on the caldera. But the best the hotel has are the people, we felt so comfortable because of them, thank you! We will visit Katikies Villa again for sure!

Beautiful view. Spotty service. Property and rooms are seriously dated. Housekeeping is soso. Visited hotel in 2024. Were surprised how beautiful the view is. The rest is subpar. 3 star experience. Feels like the owners decided to rest on laurels. A one time, one day experience at best.

There was so much that went right with this hotel. It's not a ton of stairs up to the main walkway in Oia, for Santorini standards which is super nice. The view is insane, with plenty of private spots to enjoy it. We were able to soak in the view with our morning cup of espresso every morning--it was pretty magical. The rooms are super cool and traditional caves--the kind you want to experience in Santorini. The concierge team, especially Gregory were so so helpful. Every single one of them went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome. Gregory even took the time to suggest an itinerary for our next island, Milos. We were there during Greek Easter, which I highly recommend as well. It was so fun and special to be a part of the festivities! I don't know when I will be coming back to Santorini, but I will definitely look to stay here again if I do!

We visited in April 2024 for 3 nights to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary! The villas were a fantastic place to stay! The location was ideal at the start of the main walk way into the centre of Oia. Perfectly located because we didn’t feel overlooked by passers by, not too busy, and felt very private. It was only a short walk into the busy areas of Oia. On arrival we were greeted by Gregory and another member of staff. The check in process was very quick, efficient and informative. We were greeted with a nice refreshing drink and took in the views whilst they dealt with the paperwork. They gave us some information about the area and the island. We were then shown to the room, told us how to use certain things etc, and there were also some welcome sweet canapés and a bottle of wine. We were in Villa 3 and the room was very clean and well equipped. Bed was very comfy, lots of storage, nice coffee machine, nice powerful shower and there were also some nice toiletries. Also found there were always plenty towels, including pool towels. The rooms were regularly cleaned too. The patio area was spacious with a lovely hot tub with views of the caldera. The hot tub was nice and warm which we used every evening. All the facilities were very clean and well maintained. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, which we went over to the main hotel each morning. Breakfast was amazing and so much food to eat. Firstly there were pastries and breads, and then a menu to choose from which had loads of choice, with plenty of tea, coffee and juice. We didn’t use the pools at either the villa or hotel because of the time of year. The pools felt a little chilly and preferred to just use the hot tub. If we visited Oia Santorini again we would definitely stay at Katikies Villas again and would definitely recommend to anyone!

First impression was not the greatest because they asked me to wait for the room by the pool and the weather was very windy even though i told him i cant he insisted, i found it a bit disrespectful. Bright side they did early check in, view was beautiful, room was nice, big, neat and had mostly everything you would need. Breakfast had variety they give you the option to choose whatever you want from the menu and they serve some savoury in the start. Privacy is not the greatest in Santorini, I was in room number 1 i dont recommend it because you will be sharing terrace with the next room but im sure they have better rooms.

When we arrived the view looked wonderful from the room, not going to lie we were expecting a more spacious room (nicer as well, we stayed at Villa 3) however we said it’s fine at least the view is marvelous. As the days passed we requested more water to drink they only left a 300ml bottle of water per day which is ridiculous for a renowned hotel as Katikies. They refused to provide more even though we told them several times it was fine if they charged it. Still didn’t gave us another bottle of water… Also the day before our departure we weren’t given hand towels they just left the bath towel. Again for what you expect of a Katikies hotel and the price you pay per night this small things aren’t as small. We were on our honeymoon and I don’t know if the saw us “young” and thought they could have lower standards with us or that is usually how things work there. I would recommend you to avoid the villas if you are in Santorini, you could stay at a better place for the price they charge on a mediocre service.

My husband and I stayed at Katikies villas in Oia 5 years ago and it was incredible, so booked again for our 10-year wedding anniversary. Sadly, we were very disappointed with several things. One major change I think contributed to our dissatisfaction was management-the prior manager, Erini, was amazing. However, the staff during our stay this year was superficial and on several occasions, not at all helpful. First, no one informed us that the infinity pool would be closed (as well as the bar) - they claimed they were having issues getting the pH correct (would’ve been nice to know prior to our stay so we could have anticipated needing to go to the main resort). One of the reasons we booked the villa and not the main resort was for privacy, only 7 rooms, so the pool area typically doesn’t overcrowd. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy that during our stay. They also told us that even though we booked for in-room breakfast, that we would have to go to the main resort, as they were having problems with their chef as well. We pushed back on this and did have breakfast delivered, though it was generally very cold upon arrival and lacked flavor. We did get breakfast at the main resort on our last day and the service and food was amazing. Our luggage was lost upon arrival and we were concerned given we didn’t have a change of clothes available. After hours talking with the airline, I was told our bags would arrive at the airport. We had requested to be transferred to receive them, and two issues arose: 1) the resort staff wanted to dictate to us what time we should leave, and 2) we were quoted 100€ for the transport to obtain our bags, but because it took longer than anticipated, we’re told we would be charged double (200€). As I’m sure you can imagine, this added more stress to an already suboptimal situation. We had requested a late check out on our departure day of 1pm (given we lost two days due to not having luggage and given it was season end for them). They would only accommodate late check out to noon (1 hr later than usual), which again, given the issues we faced, had hoped they would be more accommodating (the resort was not full). I do want to commend Nicholas and Sam (bell hops)-they were amazingly helpful, super strong and very kind! Also, all of the staff at the main Katikies resort-especially the lower deck lounge, were wonderful, thoughtful and amazing! If we return to Oia, we will definitely look to book the main resort over the villa. Also-housekeeping, while very friendly, was lacking. Again, we book resorts that are known to be meticulous (NOS, Melian); however, upon arrival the bathroom vanity had a sticky substance on it, clearly it hadn’t even been wiped. Turn down service was variable-one woman folded our clothes and went above and beyond, while the other failed to even replenish noir TP or empty the trash can.
