Valery Suites

Wouldn’t stay again. Not the best experience. Though the property is very clean, has attractive/comfortable units, and the management responds quickly, I would not stay again. We stayed for 3 nights and lost all water for an entire evening and night. We got back from touring/sweating all day and couldn’t shower, wash, or flush the toilet. Though management came to see, they offered no solution and, upon request, offered no water or compensation to make up for the huge inconvenience. I emailed after our stay and they continued to refuse. We paid a good amount of money and were very disappointed that management couldn’t even offer some small compensation as a courtesy. The property is also pretty far from any major city on the island (and on the opposite side of the famous views). We thought we could walk but ended up needing to rent a car. It may be worth considering paying more for a property closer to the coast. Finally, there were also large amounts of ants in the kitchen every morning (though this didn’t bother us too much. Just an fyi).

100% recommend - don't hesitate to book We had a wonderful stay in Valery Suites. The room was so spacious, bright, clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The staff was amazing, housekeeping was available to clean the room every day of the trip, and the private hot tub (which was perfect, and very private and out of view from the road, which was not the case with most hot tubs/private pools in some other hotels in Fira) was cleaned and maintained each day too. Ms Maria (the manager) was so helpful, and arranged an earlier check in with no fuss at all as we arrived on the island very early, helped us print our boarding passes, and helped us with recommendations on what we can do on the island. She was very responsive and on hand to answer any questions we had. The suites were situated a 15-20 min walk from fira bus stop and town center which was convenient too (although the walk to fira included a lot of uphill climbing due to the landscape of the island.) We felt very well taken care of and very comfortable during our stay, and felt the value for the money paid was far exceeded. We would not hesitate to recommend Valery suites to anyone who is considering a trip to beautiful Santorini
