From the time we arrived until the time we left we could not fault any aspect of this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room spacious and very clean, the towels and bedding snowy white. We ate the del dis in the restaurant both evenings, both times the food was really very good indeed. A great hotel, perfectly placed we will stay there again

First up Santander as a place is really very nice and the hotel is in a really convenient location. If you have a car it’s worth exploring the outdoor parks and museums. Whilst the hotel is listed as 4 star it is a hard to see how. The rooms whilst a good size but are dated. The fridge didn’t work and when told the reception merely said to not over fill it. Well it was empty so, yeah. There is also no tea or coffee making facilities. These are two basic features I would expect in any 4 star. Now the car parking. You have access it by a lift. Whilst novel it’s incredibly small so you have to be incredibly careful when entering the lift with your car. Also if another is coming out you need to reverse back into the road. There does appear to be a normal / manual drive way into the car park but it’s constantly closed. The breakfast is €16 per person and whilst there is a reasonable selection the hot food is very limited. Really enjoyed Santander even if the weather was awful the whole time.
