The room was very basic. Absolutely not worth it at this price. There is no free parking either. The scenery at the beach is okay, but it's a bit noisy at night.

Dream Inn has successfully redesigned a hip place with great surfer memorabilia and of course , unparalleled access to the beach and Santa Cruz wharf. Jack London restaurant has top drawer food and wonderful bar, romantic views. Great for families and for sure couples. I love to swim in the ocean but there is a lovely pool and hot tub. You can walk along the ocean for more views and nature. My husband and I are locals but make sure to enjoy time here every year

Awesome ocean view friendly staff helped in anyway possible very clean organized hotel would definitely recommend it truly is a dream inn first there and will definitely be staying again soon

Amazing ocean views, spacious rooms, best location right by the wharf. Staff is very professional and friendly and the hotel restaurant, Jack O'Neill has great food and a nice bar.

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The view of the ocean, wharf, Boardwalk and beach from our room and balcony was spectacular! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. So much fun!!

The room was very outdated and the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I expected a more fancy hotel room for my $800 a night. The location is great but the superior room that I paid extra money for was totally not worth it.

The Dream Inn has an unparalleled location overlooking Cowell Beach in Santa Cruz. And you can go to sleep to sound of the surf. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the veranda is a great addition. Our experience with the Jack O'Neill Restaurant and Lounge was outstanding. Each employee we met bent over backwards to be friendly and helpful. Our meals and drinks were outstanding, including some halibut that was super fresh. In some respects, the age of the property shows up. We were a bit bothered by a noisy heating/AC unit..
