Santa Barbara County Hotels with Wi-Fi

The resort was beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean. We brought our golden retriever and it was a very pleasant stay for him as well. The location is close enough to the shops and restaurants of State St. but far enough away to be peaceful and not too crowded. My only complaint is the food. We ate at all of the different restaurants and each time we were so disappointed by the quality of the food and the prices were astronomical. I don't mind paying a lot for good food, but this food was worse than what I make at home and I am not a good cook! My daughter ordered the lobster roll at The Set and it was terrible. $30 down the drain. We had breakfast at The Roundhouse and the avocado toast was beyond bland. Then we tried lunch at the Terraza del Mar - I got a chicken Cesar salad and my daughter got a poke bowl. The salad was cole slaw mix and chicken, that was it. Her poke bowl didn't have the rice that it was supposed to have and was horrible, she couldn't have more than a couple bites. I would stay at the resort again, but would never eat at any of their restaurants again. Better to Doordash or eat off property.

The style of the hotel is still somewhat characteristic. The room is very compact and hygienic. We live on the first floor, the sound is not good, the sound of walking upstairs is very large, the noise of the hotel exhaust and air conditioning is also very annoying. Booked more than one month in advance, more than 1,600 a night. It feels worthless.

We stayed here one night when traveling, in the Arkansas room. Two queen beds. Room was clean. Noticed when trying to shower that the tiny bottles of conditioner were empty, used by last guest which was kind of icky. But they brought new ones to room pretty much instantly when I called. Every place can have snafus, but how fast they are remedied says more to me than the mistake. The bathroom was large and convenient for families, with a separate room for toilet, a separate vanity with bench seat to do hair and makeup, a shower with opaque curtain, and a single sink with mirror and counter space. There were noisy footsteps from unit abcve which didnt stop until an hour after our bedtime, but the room was otherwise quiet. Small pool, we didn’t use. The breakfast was good, though some items ran out early. Cappuccino maker was nice and available all day, which I appreciated when our departure was delayed due to tire trouble. The lobby is fancy with a hige chandelier, piano and plenty of seating. When we were leaving, a housekeeping staff member came up to us and pointed out we had a flat tire. We had AAA refill the tire and we drove to Gonzales tire shop a few blocks away. They were able to remove nail, patch tire, and it only cost us $20. So grateful to staff for alerting us as we were headed back to freeway to get to our destination. The rate seemed quite high but the rates everywhere along 101 were high when we traveled, and at least they have free parking and the free breakfast. We would stay there again.

The one good thing about this hotel/motel was Julie who managed the front desk. She was helpful and cheerful. If not for her I would give this a zero. We came up to Solvang to get away for a few days and had looked at some of the reviews on this property and thought we would give it a try. First impression is that the outside looks nice and centrally located in Solvang. They also provide you with a continental breakfast across the street at Olsen’s bakery, it is very good. Now the bad. There is construction being done on one of the units in the front which was basically just across from where we stayed and it was a constant noise from 8 o’clock in the morning until 5 PM. This was not indicated when we were doing the reservation. The rooms are very small and the bathroom is no larger then a broom closet. we honestly could’ve put up with that but for the fact that the room smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long while…so I kept the window or door open all the time to get fresh air. The water took 10 minutes to heat up in both shower and sink. Now for the bed…get new mattresses before someone sues you for an injury, yes that bad. I really wish I could have given them a better review but I’m way too old to lie about these things. Unless they redo the rooms, Find yourself another property to stay at. I can’t speak to the quality of the cottages, so that may ne their saving grace.

First of all, the self-driving No. 1 road must have a night in the Danish town, and secondly if it is a person who can really live in this hotel. We had tree shaded premium site for 7 nights. Nice. But closely packed. Quiet at night huge Rv place. When I had problem or questions I had to text ivy. AI maybe. Sends several event messages each day but responded to only half my requests. Communication hard after hours. Ivy most of time does not respond. Laundry under third party management tried to use machines took quarters but not working. Told to call number posted in laundry which of course won’t help at the time and if machines not working why does flying flags not care about laundry facility? We have disabled child and laundry a daily issue. we have stayed at their other locations had same communication problems.

The hotel is expensive, but the room is not big, there is no bathtub and no view of the sea. Most of the money is paid in this location and exquisite decoration. Hotel parking is also expensive, and there is no free service, so the 7, 8, 8 nights of hotels are really not cost-effective. Of course, it is also a bit historical and design. It is indeed a lot of rich people to live, but if you want to really enjoy the feeling of rich people, it is best to book a room for more than one night, otherwise you will regret the money throwing in the water like me. Buellton is almost a crossroads only, leading to Solvang a more popular tourist destination. But a Marriott is there with a very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was a standard Marriott room with a small bathroom, two queen size beds and a nice view. It. Was clean and comfortable. Dining opportunities there were limited but we were given good advice by the desk clerk as to other opportunities in the area. Breakfast was plentiful with many options.

Hotel location is good, 2 swimming pools. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast. There is no problem with full food.
