3-Star Hotels in Santa Barbara County

The style of the hotel is still somewhat characteristic. The room is very compact and hygienic. We live on the first floor, the sound is not good, the sound of walking upstairs is very large, the noise of the hotel exhaust and air conditioning is also very annoying. We stayed here one night when traveling, in the Arkansas room. Two queen beds. Room was clean. Noticed when trying to shower that the tiny bottles of conditioner were empty, used by last guest which was kind of icky. But they brought new ones to room pretty much instantly when I called. Every place can have snafus, but how fast they are remedied says more to me than the mistake. The bathroom was large and convenient for families, with a separate room for toilet, a separate vanity with bench seat to do hair and makeup, a shower with opaque curtain, and a single sink with mirror and counter space. There were noisy footsteps from unit abcve which didnt stop until an hour after our bedtime, but the room was otherwise quiet. Small pool, we didn’t use. The breakfast was good, though some items ran out early. Cappuccino maker was nice and available all day, which I appreciated when our departure was delayed due to tire trouble. The lobby is fancy with a hige chandelier, piano and plenty of seating. When we were leaving, a housekeeping staff member came up to us and pointed out we had a flat tire. We had AAA refill the tire and we drove to Gonzales tire shop a few blocks away. They were able to remove nail, patch tire, and it only cost us $20. So grateful to staff for alerting us as we were headed back to freeway to get to our destination. The rate seemed quite high but the rates everywhere along 101 were high when we traveled, and at least they have free parking and the free breakfast. We would stay there again.

Buellton is almost a crossroads only, leading to Solvang a more popular tourist destination. But a Marriott is there with a very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was a standard Marriott room with a small bathroom, two queen size beds and a nice view. It. Was clean and comfortable. Dining opportunities there were limited but we were given good advice by the desk clerk as to other opportunities in the area. Breakfast was plentiful with many options.

Hotel location is good, 2 swimming pools. Breakfast is a simple continental breakfast. There is no problem with full food. The equipment of the hotel belongs to the old America, everything is old American furniture, clean and clean. Barbara is a non-smoking city. If you want to smoke, you can't be in the hotel garden. But the order was indeed a 2 bed room. Anyway The front desk waited for 20 minutes to be allocated a twin room.

The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and bright. The breakfast was complete with bread, cereal, milk, coffee, bacon, fruit and yogurt. I had a great time. The hotel is right on the beach, with the blue sea and white sandy beaches visible. Walk ten minutes along the seaside to the pier. There are several seafood restaurants. The delicacies made with fresh crabs and lobster shells are wide and of good quality, absolutely delicious. Moreover, the hotel is not far from the Grand Court, and there are buses passing through the door, which is very convenient. The hotel also has a heated swimming pool, but we didn't go swimming due to lack of time.

The hotel looks very well maintained. My room had a sofa and desk along with the king size bed. Big room for a hotel. The bathroom and sink area are alittle small, but very modern and tiled. The shower was excellent. The pool and jucuzzi were crystal clear and clean. Pretty big pool with a deep end of 8 ft. The location is about 8 minute drive to downtown, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The area seems nice, don’t let the closed hotel next door scare you away.

The breakfast was very rich, the service was very good, very stylish, the room had more than sixty square feet, there was a dining table, living room, fireplace, jacuzzi, kingsize bed, the boss was very good, there was free parking, we arrived It was late, almost eight o'clock, she prepared tea and red wine for us. The hotel is basically a big garden. It can be seen that the boss has spent many years sorting out the arrangement. Get up during the day, walk in the garden, sunbathe on the sun loungers on the lawn, read the book, very comfortable. Take the No. 1 road and stay here for one or two nights before going to LA.

The hotel has plenty of parking spaces and special features. The only downside is that the floor has some sound and the sound is not very good. You can hear it next door. The bathroom and shower room are large. Outside the door are gas stations and supermarkets. It takes 5-10 minutes to walk from the beach.

Absolutely disappointed! We've stayed here before and had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately I can't say the same about this trip. Upon check in we were informed there would be no water at the property between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am due to some maintenance being done by the city, and this was last of a three night stretch this was occurring. This was not disclosed at the time of booking and I made the reservation on what would have been the first night of the outage. The girls at the check in desk were less than accommodating. I realize this isn't their fault, but I would expect more than an unsympathetic response of, ”We're not giving any kind of discount or accommodation, but we will allow you to cancel and seek reservations elsewhere,” knowing full well that was a joke being this area is a tourist destination that regularly sells out starting Thursday night for the weekend. Then we head for our room on the third floor and we find the elevator is out of service. No warning from the girls at the front desk, who actually directed us to the elevator. I'm not sure what happened since we last stayed here, but I doubt we'll ever see this place again. Not even an offer of bottled water to hold you over for the night. Horrible customer service! Unexpected things happen, but by the third night of the issue I would have expected management to communicate the issue to upcoming reservations. Immediately upon learning of the issue of 3 nights of no water, you would think emails would have gone out to guests scheduled to check in advising of the problem, allowing them to check for other lodging. The curt advisement of, “ You can cancel your reservation and seek lodging elsewhere,” as we were checking in just isn’t the way you win consumer loyalty or keep repeat customers.

Booked a room with a friend. The decoration of the two rooms is completely different and exquisite. When it arrived at night, the hotel was on the side of the road and the parking lot was in the backyard. Quite easy to find.
