As a guide and travel agency, I’ve been staying at Tessera with my guests during my last 4–5 tours. It was an Armenian Catholic Church formerly, now t's a hotel. Friendly staff, central location, comfortable rooms, and most important thing is for us, its unique concept, we prefer Tessera knowing we’ll have a pleasant stay. It's hard to find a well-located hotel in the center of Urfa isn’t easy, but from Tessera, everything is within walking distance — Museum, Balıklı Göl, old bazaar, restaurants, and ATMs. Recommended.

Bayram tatitilinde tercih ettiğimiz otel çalışanlar güleryüzlü her şekilde yardımcı olmaya çalıştılar odanın temizliği güzel ve oda sıcaktı kahvaltı çok beklentiniz yoksa yeteri kadar güzel konumu güzel heryere çok yakın çay sınırsız ama kahveye ücret alınıyor ücretinden değil ama ikram olmasını beklerdik genel olarak tercihen tekrar geleceğimiz bir otel güvenle gelebilirsiniz

The Tessera is a beautifully restored Armenian monastery, and tastefully done to today's standards. The breakfast is outstanding, with endless choices, and all of good quality. The bathroom has excellent water pressure in the shower and the bed is very comfortable. Unfortunately, many/most staff do not speak English (or Spanish, or French). As a suggestion, a quick, elementary English course for staff in simple English communication would be of great help for travelers.

Şanlıurfaya gittiğinizde kalmanız gereken tek otel bence. Gerek hizmet gerekse temizlik açısından 10/10. Sabah kahvaltısı da çok güzeldi. Resepsiyon tarafından hep güler yüzle karşılandık. Herkese tavsiye ederim.cok memun kaldim hem ben hem ailem böyle güzel bir otele denk geldiğimiz için çok mutlu olduk

Yasmeen and her family did an amazing job transforming this property! This ex-monestary/chruch turned boutique hotel is gorgeous! The staff is very welcoming and super lovable! It felt like home! They are so kind! The property is updated and amazing! Breakfast was delicious! Definitely stay here! Seconds walk to downtown.

Lovely people. Very helpful. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs to climb. There are a few rooms on the ground floor so if you have mobility issues, maybe ask for one of those. Also, the breakfast is pretty small. And no restaurant at night. But that’s ok. The people were so kind, it makes up for all that.
