Grand Hotel & des Anglais Spa Reviews

Lovely location, beautiful hotel, set back from the road over-looking the sea. Just outside the hustle and bustle of the centre of Sanremo, only a 10 minute walk into the centre. With a delicious breakfast with plenty of variety. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The spa was lovely, with a large steam room, sauna, Hydrotherapy pool, showers and ice. As well as plenty of loungers, teas, water and fruit.

I spent a good week at the Hôtel des Anglais, my room was not nice, lack of equipment, no electricity sockets, my belongings were in my suitcases throughout my stay, no mirror in the room, etc., neither curtains nor equipment in the bathroom but very good staff. paid parking

The room prices are decorated in different styles. You'll be lucky to stay. The modern room is very cost-effective, and it's worth staying in.

The stay went very well, the sea view room was wonderful, I liked the location because it is close to the beaches, close to the center. The staff is nice, the structure has a very convenient reserved parking. I would definitely go back to them.

All gorgeous! Comfortable bed, spacious room. Great dinner and dream spa! I hope to come back soon!

Nice hotel, and very good breakfast, but very disappointed because the air conditioning in the room was out of order by 36° outside, we arrived as soon as we arrived at 4:00 p.m. and 4 times informed the reception, who told us to communicate the pb to the director but nothing has been done, this is unacceptable for a 4 star!!! So no air conditioning and when we left just a shy excuse from the receptionist without any commercial gesture!

we stayed al last level, the 5th floor. room was good, very large but we haven't large view for outside also the tv was a very small one we are smokers but never find a place in hall where we could stay with coffe cup at breakfast because there are only few places

The hotel rooms are updated and clean however the food and service is horrible . I am part of a group and the food was the worst I have ever had , like a bad school cafeteria . To make matters worse they just get angry at you if you ask for something else and walk away . I’d go elsewhere or do not eat anything here.

We were fortunate to be upgraded to be a suite, with in room sauna and jacuzzi on the balcony. Superb suite. Reception staff were polite and helpful. We had booked a table in the restaurant, but, after a delicious cocktail in the hotel bar, the restaurant seemed quite chaotic, so chose to go somewhere else. Extensive breakfast selection Overall a great place to stay, wish we had booked more than one night.

Absolute disaster - hotel director cancelled our advanced booking right on the day of arrival. I was with my 7 year old daughter. He lied many times… about problems with water, while checking in a huge group of international tourists. He offered us to move to a much inferior hotel, where we had to pay more for parking etc. The worst thing was that we had to perform our music in this hotel, and staying in it was crucial for our visit from another country. I had a small daughter on my hands, who is a rising music talent (see our YouTube), and tons of equipment. I was paying the hotel booking fee, as well as car rental fuel etc. We simply would not come if it was not possible to stay in the same hotel where we were performing. We were doing the concert completely for free, in fact spending our money, because we were invited by our dearest musicians colleagues, who said the whole concert would be cancelled if we don’t come, meaning 40 respectful people deceived at the last moment… and 7 musicians who spent weeks preparing for the event. Absolutely horrible experience. Senior director had no decency even to say sorry, but kept lying to me in person, while accepting a big group into his hotel. He made his money… and later came coughing to our concert, complaining that we are scratching his floor with HIS grand piano, who we paid ourselves to tune…

we came here for a refreshment and payed 30 euros for 2x alcohol free beer. We live in Hawai usually and know expensive prices. But this was not worth it at all and just rude. 15 year for a non-alcoholic beer. Hopefully they reconsider their pricing. The olives we got served were low quality too.
