Great, convenient location if U want to explore Santurce/Miramar by just walking. 4 blocks away is Ciudadela which has a 24 hr Pueblo, Planet Fitness, & Mercado La Carreta cafe. Directly across for Ciudadela is a food truck food court called Lote 23 (very tasty, interesting mix). Also don't miss Abracadaba brunch & local coffee spot 787 Coffee. Also couple of good Mex restaurants on Ave José de Diego. U can use this same road to walk to Condado beach 🏖️ area, approx 15 minutes. There are also electric 🛴 on the sidewalks for rent. Right next to hotel just down hill is La Casona (beautiful garden restaurant & fine dining). Just across street from this,on Avenida Juncos, is Burrillos Santurce; a really tasty & very good prices casual Mex 🌯 spot (order at counter & sit). 3 min walk.... Even though location is excellent, the hotel itself is definitely budget. No significant amenities, small rooms & even smaller bathrooms. Water pressure on low side. Rooms have flat panels & cable (didn't use though). AC as much nicer, quiet split type units, worked very well. Small rooms also much easier & quicker to cool. Kinda old, outdated & funky (but also a lot of character), but if U just need a functional place to crash, the room prices are very very good! $65-80/night vs $400 ?!? Also has 1 self serve laundry wash n dry machines. In lobby is a small cafe-type seating area. Free wifi, but kinda slow. Depending on room location, there can be noise issues. Rooms directly above the Asia di Lima restaurant's exhaust fan (on Calle San Jorge side) should keep windows closed btwn 4-11pm to minimize cooking exhaust odors. Anyway... would definitely stay here again; especially if the room rates ate below $80/day. And don't really need a lot of fluff; not on vacation to hang out in tiny room or hotel property. If U want the resort experience... Caribé Hilton, Vanderbilt, La Concha, or Sonesta or El San Juan in Isla Verde... but you're paying $300-800/night !! If U stay here, don't be shy! Get out & walk around as much as possible... you'll be surprised by all the off-the-beaten path cool stuff you'll find. A much more authentic 🇵🇷 experience!

A pleasant good value hotel. Helpful staff, wifi worked reasonably and had laundry for US$5. Easy parking Would prefer them not to lock the front door at least during the day. Avoid the appalling Asia de Lima restaurant which appears to have a connection with it.

The hotel was basic but very well centered but what really stood up most was the front desk agent Adriana (I think it was her name). She went above and beyond to make sure that we had a memorable time. She gave us innumerable tips of places to visit and what to do to make our stay a memorable one.

Gracias

The staff was friendly; the room was clean and well maintained. Given the price it exceeded my expectations. Also just a short walk to the bus stop and a decent (but not long) walk to the train station. My only complaint would be that it was way too tricky to get hot water in the shower.

We were here over a festival weekend that made accommodations hard to find. The hotel is old and worn. The security system shows that they care but also that there is a need to be cautious! I felt comfortable walking in the area during the day but not at night. The "deluxe" room was tiny and the a/c very noisy. But the bed was comfortable; the shower was good except that the soap holder had been broken off of the wall, meaning soap, shampoo, etc had to be on the floor. It was adequate since we were out all day and didn't expect amenities - just a place to sleep. It does have an elevator and coin laundry which could be a plus. It wasn't awful but I wouldn't choose it again.

If you only need a room for a night with no frills, just bare basic essentials, this one’s for you. We booked this hotel for a pre and post cruise stay. I chose this hotel because its front desk was open 24/7 unlike other smaller hotels, considering our flight didn’t come in till about 2AM. Rm 305 was a bigger room and had a more spacious washroom as compared to the first room assigned to us Rm. 303, dark and dingy. Though Rm 305 wasn’t perfect, it served its purpose, it was clean with good working AC and TV, but it’s got only one light switch, so if you turned off the washroom lights, you’ve got no lights in the room!! The lampshade with a burnt out bulb had no socket to plug it in! So front desk staff Jazlyn was nice enough to provide us with a study lamp. Juan was great, friendly and accommodating. He safely stored our luggage when we arrived early whilst we toured the area. He likewise helped us with info where to go and eat. Frank was good to call for a taxi at 4AM, and served as our interpreter. Staff were good to answer promptly all my query emails. Another thing, Sunday night there was a parade-concert, street party from 3pm till around 12sh AM about 2 blocks away, so music was blaring and non stop, good thing AC was on and noise was toned down a bit. Just be aware that you’ll hear the comings and goings of other guests.
