6 stars, 12/10. Highly recommend. 175 acres of pristine riverfront jungle hosting only 12 (I think, maybe 10?) cabins total. True wilderness experience. The grounds were impeccably maintained, and you could walk their hiking trails, visit their donkeys, chickens, rabbits, and working fruit orchards. Canoe and float the Macal River, as the lodge had +/- a mile or so of frontage. You can see wildlife from the front porch of your cabin. Every night at dusk we would sit on the front porch and listen to howler monkeys roar. The staff were friendly and awesome, in particular, Oscar, Zeke, Lloydia, and Aziel. We’ll be back. If you’re tired of highly sanitized resorts that look like every other one you’ve ever been to and ready for a real adventure, do this

This was our first time staying on mainland Belize and we choose Table Rock due to it's intimate size and the property amenities. From canoeing on the river, touring the gardens, and feeding the resident donkeys, this property does not disappoint. Whether it's dining, poolside, or happy hour you're surrounded by a lush beautiful jungle complete with iguanas and hummingbirds. The staff are so warm and welcoming and you feel surrounded by friends, especially at happy hour with Oscar. They assisted us with dinner and tour reservations and everyone at the property is quite lovely. We highly recommend this property however, as noted in other reviews, the rooms do not have A/C. The fan above the bed was good enough for us (we actually needed an extra blanket), but if you are heat sensitive then keep this in mind.

Table Rock Jungle Lodge was absolutely amazing! I would recommend staying at least four nights to truly explore the farm and enjoy the full experience. The cabins are spacious and comfortable, each equipped with a hammock that you can set up outside to enjoy the secluded surroundings. The infinity pool is a refreshing escape. Be aware there’s no A/C, so it can be hot at night until the cool breeze rolls in around 4 a.m. Roughly two times a day you can hear the howler monkeys in the distance, which adds to the ambience. The food was excellent every day, with a great variety and friendly service. Oscar served up delicious drinks, while Lloyda and Blanka went above and beyond to provide outstanding guest service. At the Front Office, Zeekion, Carla, and Rodel were incredibly helpful and checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Their knowledge and hospitality were top-notch. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the Mayan Ruins with our guide, Nathan. He didn’t just talk us through the site—he climbed the pyramids with us and explained the rich history behind each one. On the way back, he even stopped at a lookout point to show us the Rio Pools. Nathan’s fun personality and local knowledge made the whole adventure even better. He shared stories and insights about every town we passed through, adding so much depth to our journey. This was truly a great time—an unforgettable blend of nature, culture, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommend!

A perfect week for my sister and me, both retired. Our river view cabana was fabulous and we slept well. The food was delicious and the pool refreshing; and all the hummingbirds…..what can we say but ‘perfect’? We wanted an easy, beautiful week to relax and as a base for tours. We walked the grounds, fed the donkeys and rabbits, and thanked the chickens for their eggs. The Lodge organized everything for us from airport pickup to cave rafting, Maya ruins, pontoon boating and time in San Ignacio. Eco- friendly and beautifully at balance with nature, we walked by the river but passed on the tubing and canoeing (too old??!!). How to surpass this? The staff!! Professional, attentive and friendly. They made our week easy, warm and welcoming. Whether servers or managers, gardeners or security help- everyone was a joy and contributed to our splendid week. Thanks you all so much.

We stayed at Table Rock four nights and wished we had made it six. A wonderful lodge with individual cabins that are well designed and appointed. Ours had a view of the Macal River. The restaurant had excellent food and the waitresses were terrific. We usually would order the Special of the night which never disappointed. Zeke at the front desk was very helpful with all of our requests and on our last day let us stay in our room awhile until the check-in at our next lodging opened up. They have extensive grounds and we got a tour of their garden by Abraham and then went to feed the donkeys with food from the kitchen. We highly recommend Table Rock and we hope to return some day.

We spent 5 nights at Table Rock in early March 2025. We purchased the package with 3 excursions. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. All of the wait staff in the restaurant were charming and attentive. The only complaint is that the food was too good and plentiful and we came home needing a serious diet. The tour guides were knowledgeable and willing to accommodate to our needs and requests. We loved the visit to Tikal and the Cave Tubing.

We stayed at Table Rock four nights in the Rainforest Cabin. The cabin was lovely with textiles and decor to match the jungle atmosphere. They provide easy and plentiful access to filtered water and ice. The whole property is lovely and so beautifully maintained. We enjoyed the pool especially on the hot days and the river is safe for swimming, tubing and canoeing which are all onsite. The most exceptional aspect of our stay was the staff who went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. We enjoyed the onsite dining. Good food and great service! Hummingbird feeders surround the dining area. We have never seen so many and so much variety of hummingbirds! They were especially a hit with my kids. There is no air conditioning anywhere on the property which fits the eco lodge atmosphere. I was concerned about this when I booked but found previous reviews to be generally correct that it cools down considerably at night so we were able to sleep. The humidity is high even when the temperature drops so consider that as well when choosing lodging. We are from Florida and generally acclimated to higher humidity. Two of the days we were there it was about 100 F and I will not lie that I struggled a bit on those days as it was very hot with nowhere to cool off except by getting in the pool or river. They do have fans everywhere and that helps. The other days we were there it was in the 80’s and that was perfect.

We spent three amazing nights in our river view cabana (Kingfisher), immersed in the lush Belizean jungle and surrounded by birds and wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around the gorgeous estate and relaxing in the comfortable chairs and hammock on our balcony, listening to the sounds of the river and jungle. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and private, set a good distance away from the main office, restaurant, bar & pool terrace. It was beautifully appointed, with a wide comfortable bed, lots of lovely wood, pretty textiles and beautiful foliage displays. Far better than we had imagined - and we had all we needed - including large umbrellas! The food at all our meals was excellent and all of the staff were genuinely friendly, thoughtful, helpful and efficient. The highlight for us was a private candlelit supper on our last evening, where the flowers, night lights, food & wine and personal service made for an overwhelmingly romantic and beautiful dinner. Magical. Such a fantastic and indulgent stay at Table Rock…. Highly recommended!

This place was absolutely fabulous. It is nestled into the jungle in the best way. The activities are amazing, whether it be canoeing on the property, taking a hike or booking an excursion for the day to Tikal. The staff was the friendliest staff I have ever met at a hotel and they are extremely accommodating. The meals each night were incredible and the drinks are so refreshing. Also they have farm animals on site that you can feed!! Wish we could stay longer!!
