Very nice and clean hotel in a beautiful location overlooking the beach and sea. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and the bus stop. Very convenient. The room was great (327) overlooking infinity pool and sea. Bed was very comfortable. TV channels not in English but talk to reception and they will put ITV on channel 23. Half board food was mostly nice but very meat-heavy. Vegetarian dishes are few and far between but plenty of salads available. The dining room is fresh and clean and well serviced by friendly staff. Water at dinner was 1.90 a bottle for filtered tap water served at room temperature. Should be free of charge like it is at breakfast. There are rules in place around reserving sun beds before 9.00 am with a threat of towel removal. This rule is totally ignored and we saw many people putting their towels out at the infinity pool from 7.30 am and usually just left until the reservers feel like returning - often hours later. We only saw them being removed twice in 2 weeks when the cleaners were doing their deep clean. Overall it's a lovely hotel and we would return but for a shorter period - 2 weeks was too long.

Pros: ✅ Stunning Views: The room offered breathtaking views that truly made the stay memorable. ✅ Comfort: The super large bed was incredibly comfortable and inviting. ✅ Premium Features: Loved the extra premium touches that added a special feel. ✅ Style: The fresh, minimal look of the hotel was modern and relaxing. ✅ Dining: A fantastic choice of drinks and delicious food kept me happy all week. ✅ Location: Situated in a safe and quieter area, perfect for unwinding. ✅ Activities: Lovely coastal walks nearby added a wonderful touch to the stay. Cons: ❌ Nearby Shopping: The shopping centre nearby was a bit dated, although very clean. ❌ Pool Area: General sun beds were a little too close together for comfort. ❌ Entertainment: The entertainment program was hit and miss, but still enjoyable. ⸻ Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Would I recommend? Yes! Don Gregory is a fantastic choice for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, premium comforts, and a lovely location.

Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Hotel Don Gregory auf Gran Canaria. Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Don Gregory ist einfach fantastisch! Von dem Moment an, als wir ankamen, fühlten wir uns unglaublich wohl. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Man spürt, dass hier Service großgeschrieben wird, und das trägt maßgeblich zu einem entspannten Urlaub bei. Das Niveau ist definitiv 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐Sternen Superior 👍 Die Zimmer sind modern, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bieten einen hohen Komfort. Besonders der Meerblick ist atemberaubend und lädt zum Träumen ein. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotelbereich ist vorbildlich – hier gibt es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Auch das gastronomische Angebot hat uns vollends überzeugt. Die Auswahl an Speisen war vielfältig, frisch und von hervorragender Qualität. Egal ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen, es war immer etwas Leckeres dabei, und die Themenabende sorgten für zusätzliche Abwechslung. Das Hotel ist wunderbar gelegen, direkt am Strand und doch ruhig genug, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Die Poolanlage ist gepflegt und bietet ausreichend Platz zum Entspannen. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen: Das Verhalten der Gäste an den Poolliegen! Leider muss ich eine Anmerkung machen, die nicht direkt das Hotel betrifft, aber dennoch unseren Aufenthalt beeinflusst hat: Das Verhalten einiger Hotelgäste bezüglich der Belegung der Poolliegen ist beispiellos und schon fast unverschämt, wie dies gemacht wird. Es ist schade, dass die rücksichtslose Reservierung von Liegen hier scheinbar keine Grenzen kennt. Trotz dieses Punktes können wir das Hotel Don Gregory uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die positiven Aspekte überwiegen bei Weitem, und wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen!

Muchas gracias , para mi vacaciones aquí con vosotros. Los empleados de esto hotel son muy excelentes. En todos el sectores, me gusta mucho los socorristas, aquí son presentes. Personal de limpieza, personal de habitaciones nos tratan muy bien. La casa está siempre limpia. Los camareros son muy profesionall. La animación me gusta nos acompaña en el día. Son mucho de companhia. Nathan y Andrew muy guay. Notamos fallos en la dirección, porque se está deteriorando. Somos clientes y no huéspedes. Queremos un Major contactó con la dirección de hotel para exponer nuestras necesidades. Muchas gracias por leer este comentario .

The outside is very dated and is in need of some TLC, not sure how it’s a 4 star. Lady on reception very rude - excuse given; ‘she’s new!’ Unacceptable. Ridiculous policy of men having to wear full length trousers in the restaurant in the evenings, but they don’t have to at lunchtime - so what’s the difference? It’s 2025, I’ve been to Gran Canaria loads and stayed in various hotels and never had to wear trousers to dinner. I don’t have any trousers, If I’d have known beforehand I would have brought some. I have smart shorts, as it’s very warm here atm. Have been told to either borrow some trousers from the hotel, which are like office/business wear & I wouldn’t be comfortable wearing with the rest of my clothes, go out and buy some (so be out of pocket) or to eat my dinner in my room. Again, not acceptable! This is day 1, not a great start to a much needed relaxing holiday! Will be complaining to Kuoni whom it’s booked with, when I get home!
