Don Gregory by Dunas - Adults Only

The hotel is in a fantastic location half an hour from the airport. The reception area was bright & welcoming. Room was clean bright & airy. We were fortunate enough to get a room with the infinity pool just outside overlooking the sea. In regards to the food there are plenty of options for all with plenty of desserts. Every night in the restaurant there is a different theme for food we experienced Chinese, Mexican & our final night will be Sushi. Each night there is entertainment for the guests & the best one was the Tina Turner impressionist. She was truly outstanding. The best thing about the hotel I can say is the staff who are hard working, always smiling & friendly. We had a few issues on arrival which were dealt very quickly by the Guest Experience Team & the manager. With the hotel overlooking the sea & shops in close proximity we would definitely recommend if it's somewhere you are looking to recharge. Nearby there are plenty of options to eat at if you fancy something different there is a great Indian restaurant across the road called Tandoori Flavour in the Shopping Centre & a restaurant called Victoria serving fantastic food. There is also a Spa & Gym which l never had the chance to try. All in all we had a great week made special by meeting some great people, making new friends & by being made to feel so welcome. If you enjoy drinking coffee unless you are in one of the Premium Rooms or Suites these are not replenished daily so may l suggest you bring your own. So if you go & there are any issues please let the Guest Experience Team or Reception aware they will go above & beyond to rectify your problems. Excellent hotel staff & team 5/5 for their efforts, we applaud & thank them for their professionalism.

Everything was great, the best was the staff who was very attentive and careful. In particular, if you are celiac you can enjoy gluten free meals without any worries as they take care of allergies/intolerances.

Andrew and Saskia added the the already good experience at this hotel by adding fun activities /entertainment during the day and evenings.

Overall a great experience at this hotel! Brilliant location with a huge sandy beach right in front of the hotel. Lots of waves for bodyboarding which was great fun. Staff at the hotel are really lovely, always smiling and greeting guests. Worth upgrading to all inclusive in my opinion. Food was better some days than others but generally plenty of choice. Only gripe about the restaurant is charging 1€90 for filtered tap water which was warm - maybe the hotel could purchase a couple more drinks fridges to ensure water is cold for guests - or offer ice with drinks. No problem getting sun loungers when we were there. The spa is small but it was nice to spend an hour there and you get a visit included with all inclusive and premium rooms (on the upper floors). First visit with my grown up children to an adults only hotel and I loved the peace!

We travelled as a party of 11 for a hen party. We all had such an amazing time. The staff have been absolutely superb and the hotel is lucky to have them all. Bar area is table service and you’re never waiting long. The food at the bar is next level for all inclusive. Usually it’s terrible burger and chips etc but this place serve salmon, rice and asparagus, steak and fries, pizzas, amazing buttered prawns, nachos with guac etc. It was just so lovely. Cocktails are also fantastic. The manager got us a dinner table each evening all together and out of the way a little, we were quite loud so this was appreciated. The evening entertainment needed a little more energy or something different But being out of season-ish it was good. Andrew really pushed the boat out on the night we went on our hen celebration and the hen had the best evening. Hotel is on the beach and loungers are €4.50 you can take drinks down and there is a shower on the beach. Towels are free and you can swap them as you need. Main food is lovely too, always a couple of show stations. Duck rolls, tacos, steak, fresh ham on the bone. Salads are fresh. You can’t save sunbeds so have always been able to sit down. Would definitely go back as a group. 10/10
