Rentalmar Los Peces

Arrival at night. I called ahead from Cork Airport to ensure with the Reception at Rentalmar Los Peches that we would be able to get in at night. When we arrived, there was no security guard as I'd been told; there was nobody at all. The number we had been told to call (in the window) gave no reply, though I, my partner and the taxi driver all called it for half an hour. It was a cold night and we spent it on the street with our luggage, and eventually sheltered a while in the lobby of another hotel. On complaining at the reception next morning, they gave us attitude and expected us to prove that we had called. The number was a different one from the one we had called (and it’s unlikely we all called the same wrong number.) The agency did not refund us the lost night either. Will not return to this establishment and not to any of its branches either.

My father stayed here last month for 10 nights and paid €300. After reading the reviews, I was hesitant sending him here but at €30 a night we weren't expecting much, just basic accommodation. I was pleasantly surprised, location was perfect, just down the road from Danny Boys and the beach. The apartment was clean and reception were friendly. The air con wasn't working but it was late September so it wasn't a big deal, I imagine if it was July or august it might be a different issue. There is no housekeeping and you do need to give the apartment back in the same way you received it. All in all, it was very good value, if you are on a budget and realistic about expectations, you should have a great time.

Great hotel lovely big rooms great beds a full size fridge and a washing machine good pool the location is just perfect deffo be back stayed from Sat to Tuesday for such a good price 1 thing missing a kettle but a pan did the job also everyone gets a key to make life easier

WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!! Honestly the worst holiday of our lives. Myself and my partner, who is 26 weeks pregnant, had to stay in probably the dirtiest, most run down, kip in all of salou. The place is nothing like the online photos advertise. We had booked 5 nights. As soon as we arrived, we were charged €200 for a deposit on the room. We were given one key for the apartment, because apparently the last people who stayed had lost the other one. There was no cleaners in those 5 nights, meaning the same bed sheets, no toilet paper, dispose of your own rubbish. Honestly, is it hard to supply a roll of toilet paper. The bed was like sleeping on the floor. My partner didn’t sleep at all on the trip due to the state of the bed. The pool beds are all broken. And I mean all broken. Also didn’t see the pool washed once while I was there. We weren’t asked how our stay was while checking out. Just some ignorant woman at reception who seems to think the world of herself tells me the deposit should be in my account within 5 working days. Best part of staying there was getting the hell out of it. Stay well away from this Kip!!!
