An honest review AVOID, we have just spent a week here family of 6 all inclusive. Pros: - Hotel is clean & looks nice - close to beach and shops - free PortAventura tickets included. Cons: - Food is awful, barely any choice really small buffet!! same food day in day out… lived on pizza a chips. - Room - toilet doors broken and rotted child got stuck inside. Balcony door also broken no handle so difficult to open/ close. We had two rooms and between 6 of us we had 8 hangers 4 in each room, 1 draw in each room. The beds are very uncomfortable even all my kids moaned non stop 2 have sore backs and so does my partner after the week of those beds. Bar- the bar doesn’t open till 11am so other than going to the buffet room no other drink available until then. There is a pool bar which has food a drinks available and 1 indoor bar (wouldn’t call it a bar, you can’t see what’s available). The indoor bar runs from 11am- 11.30pm one manned big queues they will not allow you to have coffee from indoor bar during the day for some strange reason unless you pay cash even tho your all inclusive they say you have to go to the pool bar for coffee. Throughout the week have noticed a lot of miserable, abrupt and bad mannered staff. One male snatched a plate out my hand quite abruptly, started shouting at me how it’s forbidden to take food out 🤣 as I tried to leave the restaurant with some fruit for my child for breakfast who was unwell one morning shouting at me. A couple have been very nice Angel was a lovely man, friendly and chatty. Inis she was a really friendly girl too always smiling an helpful- thanks for the extra biscuits for my son! But the majority of staff are so arrogant. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here definitely not all inclusive anyway. I have never wrote a review before but I felt I had to. Hope this helps before you make the mistake we did :)

Ok, so this was the first time on taking my daughter who has Coeliac disease abroad, and let’s just say we won’t be coming back to this hotel. So this is a pre warning for anyone who has an allergy. The pros about this hotel, the rooms are cleaned for you every day, close to the beech and shops, and portaventure world and the Aqua Park which they were brill, these attractions are 10 minutes on a bus. The Entertainment seemed to be very good for the younger kids, and getting us adults involved, the ladies seemed lovely too. The cons- the employees don’t speak great English so there is a hard language barrier, the best ones to talk to were the entertainment employees. The first day we got there we were prepared, filled out the allergy form gave it to the receptionist, and we thought right that’s done we can relax as they will know now she’s got an allergy, nope that wasn’t the case the second meal we went for they told me to fill in the allergy form again, I advised I have already done this however, they just looked at me and just pointed at the form, so I filled it all in again my guessing is that they had lost it. As my daughter is GF every time we went for a meal we had to say our room number which is fine, they would then speak Spanish to another member of staff didn’t know what they were saying, once we were sat down we waited for 10-15 minutes, we would then have to go and find somebody to say can we have the gluten free menu as no one came to us, this took a further 5-10 minutes depending on how busy they were, all the gluten free meals are microwaved, am unsure if the breakfast was though? no fresh meals at all were prepared for my daughter, one night she was served with very cold practically frozen chicken on which she ate half of, luckily for them she wasn’t ill, oh and my daughter couldn't eat at the same time as us due to the delays with her food, me or her dad would wait with her whilst they did whatever they were doing in the kitchen as her food would take 10-15 minutes but maybe that’s because it’s being microwaved and I did complain to the manger however, they didn’t seem bothered why would they! About the pool- the pools side is very slimy, I don’t know what that is all about but be very careful.

This is a good value for money choice, especially as our stay included tickets to Portadventura. The hotel is conveniently 20 mins walk away from the nearest beach with plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The best thing about this hotel is the entertainment team, they entertain the adults as much as the children and genuinely seem like they love their jobs! The hotel has a theme day every day which is nice. Would be good if they could have more themes in the restaurant though as the menu did not change much throughout our stay although the food was nice. We had a couple of minor issues with the room which were resolved very quickly by the hotel staff. Rooms and hotel were generally very clean. The number of sunbeds are limited in the pool area and we found that people were 'reserving' them despite the hotel's policy against this. The hotel did take action though leaving reminders for guests in their rooms and ordering in a number of new sunbeds to meet demand. They are limited on space though as it's a very built up area. This means the outdoor activities for children are also limited compared to other places we have stayed. Would only recommend this hotel to families, don't think it's really suited to couples.

We booked this hotel mostly because it included 2 free days at Portaventura theme park. We found the hotel to be nice and clean. The all inclusive deal has a good selection of food and drinks on offer. The pool area is quite small (compared to say Turkey Lara Beach type hotels) and this does cause a bit of an issue with the amount of sun loungers on offer. Overall I had nothing bad to say about the hotel until the check out day. Check out was at 11am (fine) but our bus transfer was not until 3:40pm. At check out the receptionist cut off our all inclusive bands. It would have been most hospitable of the hotel to allow us to keep the bands until our pick up time. This would allow us to have lunch, considering our arrival was not until 8pm, on the day of arrival and this was not deducted from the price but not granted at the other end. Suitcase storage was at a cost, which again I feel should have been an inclusive offer.

We stayed at Ponient Pirámide Salou by PortAventura World for a week with our 5-month-old baby. It’s a decent hotel with a great location and good value if you’re planning to visit PortAventura, but there are definitely areas that need improvement — especially if you're travelling with a young child. Pros: Spacious rooms with large balconies and strong showers Excellent location — 7 minutes to the promenade, 2 minutes to a supermarket Nice pool with plenty of shade until mid-afternoon (great for babies) Evening shows for kids were a nice touch Friendly and helpful reception staff Package includes park access: 1 day at PortAventura + 1 day at PortAventura & Ferrari Land Cons: Floor in our room was dirty on arrival (though cleaned after we reported it) Weak air conditioning — only somewhat effective if left on all day In-room fridge was tepid, not cold enough for storing baby bottles Had to pay extra to rent a kettle, which should be standard for families with infants Elevators were very small and often full — we sometimes waited 15+ minutes with the buggy Wi-Fi was very slow On our third night, a broken hallway door near our room (next to the elevator) creaked and slammed shut repeatedly until around 1 AM Breakfast was the same every day, and dinner was bland and repetitive Tips: Ask for a room away from the elevators if you're a light sleeper If you're travelling with a baby, bring your own travel kettle Press your floor number inside any elevator even if you can’t get in — helps it stop for you later Overall: A reasonable option if you're visiting PortAventura and want somewhere affordable nearby. There’s definitely potential here, especially for families, but some basics like better AC, elevator systems, and baby-friendly amenities would go a long way. We'd consider other hotels next time, but it served its purpose.

Ignore the Bad Reviews – We Had a Fantastic Stay! My family (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed here for 4 days, and we genuinely had the best time. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff were always friendly, polite, and helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, with fresh sheets and a neatly made bed waiting for us each evening — such a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping us cool throughout our stay. Contrary to some older reviews, there are no meal time slots anymore — that system was removed last year. You simply go during the set meal times. There was a good variety of food, and I especially loved the fresh fruit every morning — it was delicious! The pool area was clean, well-maintained, and we never had trouble finding a table and chairs. There were also fun games and activities for the kids throughout the day, which they really enjoyed. We also used the hotel shuttle to get to the theme parks. The staff were great at explaining where to catch it and how it all worked, which made things super easy for us. Yes, the lifts can be a bit slow — but honestly, I didn’t mind taking the stairs, even from the top floor. Overall, I’m extremely happy and impressed with our stay. This is a lovely hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and fantastic staff. I’d absolutely recommend it to families looking for a fun and relaxing holiday. (Only flaw is the cups/glasses & cutlery could be cleaner).
