Golden Costa Salou - Adults Only

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Great hotel – clean, professional staff, and a relaxing stay Stayed at Golden Costa La Pineda in July 2025 and overall had a fantastic experience. The hotel is very clean, modern, and well-maintained. Staff were excellent—polite, professional, and always helpful. Food was great with lots of variety, but some breakfast items were lukewarm or cold at times. Entertainment was better than expected and added to the holiday vibe, a couple of nights stood out better than the rest. Bar prices were reasonable (around £3.30 for a pint of Cruzcampo/Estrella), but cocktails were expensive (~£10). The all-inclusive option didn’t seem worth it—you still had to pay extra for certain drinks and even a bag of crisps was 2.10 euros for AI. Hotel takes cash and card payments. There was also a premium AI and you could when arriving upgrade your stay. eg. B&B to HB, HB to FB, AI to AI premium. Bike hire available and reasonable Entertainment/games etc during the day and evening entertainment including quiz's, singers etc A bottle of wine in the restaurant seemed expensive, cheapest being 13.4 euros or 2.50 euros if AI up to 20 euros or 8 euros if AI Water was always free including ice cold water hubs near the pool (including paper cups) and on each floor near the lifts. Sunbed availability was hit and miss but we never had a day where we couldn't get one. The pool was clean and warm at times and was no more than 6 foot at the deepest so no diving in. There was also a sauna area but this was 12 euros for an hour and massaging again at an extra cost. Check in was 2pm checkout was 11am TV had ITV1, CH4 and BBC1 plus sky news. A few small issues: our room (in the 131–137 block, especially 133) was right above the smoking area, so smoke often drifted into our balcony and room. No sink plug in the bathroom so we couldn't wash any clothes, and beer measures at the bar were sometimes a bit short. There was also some beach refurbishment going on nearby—not noisy, but not the best view. Although plenty of storage space there wasn't many hangers Despite those minor complaints, this was the best hotel we've ever stayed in and we would happily return. A fridge again free, high quality beds, plenty of storage space but not many hangers. Plenty of hot water and good sized bathrooms Walkability25 minute walk into the start of Salou longer of going via Cap Salou Food and drinks: good selection although some food items can be lukewarm depending on how popular they are Noteworthy details: take a corkscrew if you like wine as nearby supermarkets have a good selection of wine but most have corks. There is a private shower block near the pool so if early you can get changed plus there is a secure room for your cases.

Ì couldn't fault this hotel at all. Everything was perfect. The fòod was just great. The staff are just amazing. The entertainment was brilliant. Ì had really bad news while I was there that my cat had died and they all rallied round to look after me.
