Overall it was good. The best thing was that we had meals even though it was very late. The hamburgers were delicious. The deposit was returned very quickly and was returned on the spot.

I’ve stayed at other Fairfield Inns but this one must have been another hotel before lots of things in my room says it was the bathrooms were small that’s why the sink is not in the bathroom and what’s up with the low toilet it’s not handicap accessible the room was decent but I’m gonna have to think twice before I stay here again their are other hotels across the highway might check those out next time and our room was on the train track side but I’m use to train noise didn’t keep me up

First the positive. Right off 99. Check in was easy. Staff was friendly and breakfast was adequate. Now the negative. Very loud if you are on the side closest to 99. Rooms are extremely dated. Bathrooms have been remodeled. But the furniture is from 35 years or so. Bed is ok. Needs a complete refresh. Its seems clean enough. Only stayed one night as we were passing through.

All of the staff members were very friendly and attentive. The lavender scent in the lobby is an excellent touch. I was in Modesto because my husband was in the hospital there for a very serious condition and the lavender was very soothing to me. Other reviews complain about freeway and train noise, I didn’t hear either. My only disappointment was with the breakfast. Although okay, it was small prepackaged options with the exception of cereal. It’s time to bring back eggs, waffle/pancake makers, toasters, etc. Importantly, I felt very safe there as a solo woman guest.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was the usual and it was ok. The only downside was the traffic noise from the highway. It was not bad, but it was there. The staff were all friendly and I had no issues during my week long stay. I would stay here again.
