The Coach House

The Coach House has free parking. The Coach House is a short drive from downtown Salem. The rooms have a historic flavor. The House has no elevators nor person at front desk. Everything is done online. If one is senior with ambulatory issues, the House is not recommended.

This is a very beautiful, old style property, well kept and well cared for. At first we were worried about the check in process since we do not have internet while travelling, but it worked out well (it is provided by the property once you get there). They are constantly monitoring your needs and responding properly. We struggled with air conditioning, which was very high on a fairly cool day when we arrived, but the instructions worked out fine. Small bathroom, but there is an ante-bathroom area that can accommodate all your toiletries. TV and internet are included. There is no elevator that we could see, so keep it in mind if you have mobility issues. My only regret is that the windows do not open--and as an European, this is something that I really miss in North American hotels or properties. Altogether, excellent stay.

Amazing hotel but it was warmer weather and the windows do not open nor was there a fan. Unable to locate ac in room.

Even though this is a fully digital property and there isn't a physical staff on property, i was able to get quick support from the staff via text which was helpful.

A very happy and memorable Valentine's Day stay A wonderful Valentine's Day stay, room was beautiful and the location made it easy to access all Salem had to offer. Our hostess Marley was also fantastic and very accomodating and friendly throughout our stay.
