Lindbergh Bay Hotel

My worst hotel stay to date. We chose this hotel due to the location which is perfect however the pictures were quite misleading. On arrival we noticed the hotel and villas looked quite rundown. It was only a 3 day stayed so we thought this would be ok. After a long day out got back for bed pulled my covers back and there was a dead cockroach in my bed. This was concerning because I wondered when was the last time the bedding was changed. Picked the phone up to call reception, however the phone was broken. My brother had to walk down from the villa to reception in the rain. Was informed no house keeping staff but offered a swap which I agreed to. The other villa on arrival had a horrible, unclean smell plus the AC didn’t work properly. I went back to the previous room taking the bedding from that room. The following night and then in the morning found 2 cockroaches this time alive in the bathroom. This was the last straw we could no longer comfortably stay at this roach infested place so our 3 nights stay turned into 2 which was very disappointing as it was my brother’s big birthday. Other things we tried to overlook were the fact that the pictures were very misleading in regards to the beach. There was no beach access, it seem there was because of the rubble that remain. We did not dear to go into any of the 2 pools as they looked unkept and dirty. No compensation was offered although there were multiple faults with the hotel. Staff were pleasant but overall everything else was shockingly poor and disappointing. Absolutely disgusting.

This was our second time staying here. Hotel staff were very kind & welcoming. Rooms were clean & nice and cool. The view is beautiful too! There are 2 pools to lounge at (pool towels are available st the office) and beautiful vegetation all around the property to enjoy! The hotel is walking distance from the airport if you didn’t get a rental car or taxi. We enjoy our stay here!

I would stay here again

It’s very sad. We have stayed there 1-2 times a year since it was a Best Western. It was always a great way to start and end a sailing trip. But this last visit for all 8 of us was awful. No restaurant or bar ( but it was advertised). Again, a very sad senerio.

The hot water was not very hot, it got luke warm at best.

Hotel is in a very nice location, 2 minutes walk to the airport. The property needs some maintenance and the rooms need major upgrades for a $230.00 per night hotel. There are no amenities on the property.
