St Marys Hall Hotel

A beautifully and tastefully decorated hotel with excellent staff and a luxurious bar with outdoor seating in the lovely front garden. Pristine style and furniture, excellent location for the town centre and harbour. The cooked breakfasts are stunningly delicious, excellent quality and value and impeccable throughout. A wonderfully relaxing stay in a top class hotel.

read menus outside on entrance wall-decided to sample cream teas;had to give 24 hour notice though. only people in that day but did not matter-whole hotel is splendid wherever one looked.numerous dining areas likewise with lounge areas-very good planning. 2 huge scones each plus generous pot of cream &jam plus choice of tea or real cups of coffee;chose latter which very good quality-given 2 cups which went down very well. visit was to us the highlight of weeks holiday on Island. IF ever wanted to revisit would ensure booked into this well run hotal.

Outstanding hotel, the amenities, staff and the food were excellent. Highly recommended. The hotel was ideally placed for visiting all areas of the island. Every member of staff were helpful efficient and welcoming. The restaurant service was exceptional and the menu was varied and interesting and we couldn’t fault the food.

We had a brilliant week staying in St Mary's Hall Hotel. The manager, serving staff and cleaners were all attentive, friendly, polite and helpful. Our room was very clean and service was a very high standard . The hotel was traditional and for us very comfortable with a well kept and beautiful garden at the front. Breakfasts and Dinners were also a very high standard and served by delightful, friendly serving staff. The hotel helped make our holiday in the Scilly Isles a delightful holiday to be remembered and we hope to return there.

The recent visit to Cornwall gave us an opportunity to stay in this lovely hotel. We had asked for a suite on one floor because my wife had a damaged knee and couldn't climb stairs but we were told our suite had plumbing problems and we were allotted this duplex suite which was on two levels, necessitating climbing 14 stairs, which was a pain really. It was a problem climbing the stairs at night to reach the only bathroom, which was upstairs. To be fair to the hotel they made some concessions to the bill (which was already northbound as it was peak tourist season). The location of the hotel was good, it was about 10 mins from the quay and there were nice restaurants nearby, which are must visits for the delectable seafood they serve. Honestly speaking the food at the hotel was very good but very pricey too. Overall, a hotel I would stay again but I would advise to look around too. We didn't have a choice since ours was a literally last minute trip and not many good hotels were vacant. We booked the first one that we got. The front desk is very friendly and the staff very courteous. I would rate it very good overall.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. With friendly and extremely helpful staff, great service, superb food, well appointed rooms, a well-stocked bar, and a beautiful garden, this hotel was far better than many of the 4* and 5* hotels that I've known.
