They said that there was a vineyard right outside the window. We checked in at almost 5 o'clock. They gave me a room at the very top of the first floor, which was the first floor of the small attic. A man and a woman took me into the room and showed me around. When they left, I opened the door leading to the small garden (a little big, with just a table and two chairs, and no flowers), but I couldn't see the vineyard and there was no view at all. I asked to change rooms, to a room on the second floor that was higher up, or to a room on the first floor that faced the vineyard. The hotel said they were fully booked. They showed me two rooms in the small attic on the second floor, which were duplexes with a spiral staircase. They said I had skipped four steps and they wanted an extra €160. I'm afraid they were crazy about money because I couldn't see the vineyard either and I was afraid of falling. I called Ctrip, and they said they had refunded me. I had already checked in, so how could I get a refund? Then they said they would apply for a discount for me and told me to stay there first. More than half a month ago, the hotel sent an email saying that its restaurant was very good and asked me to make a reservation. I booked for 7pm but forgot to ask for a window seat. I asked Ctrip to call and they said it was booked. I went to the restaurant at around 7pm and saw that there was only one window seat left. They assigned me the one by the door, but I didn't want it, and asked why they didn't give me the window seat. They said it was booked by someone else. I also booked it more than half a month ago. I drove out to eat, but it was closed outside. I went back to the hotel to eat after 8pm. The window seats were full, and there were only two seats left at the door. The waiter said that the seats in the room were the same. I said why were the two seats at the door always empty while the window seats were full. I was unhappy and didn't have dinner. I checked out the next morning. They said I left the table empty last night and wanted to fine me €100, which was equivalent to not wanting to give me the pre-authorization from yesterday. Your two crappy tables are there whether I sit or not, and you haven't lost anything. The hotel said I was dishonest and didn't go to eat after booking. I said first, you sent me an email to ask me to book, second, you didn't give me the seat I wanted, and third, you left your table empty, but you didn't say you would fine me yesterday. The hotel said one moment they couldn't specify the window seat, and then the window table was booked by someone else. I called Ctrip, and Ctrip said it would take two hours to process. I checked out and wanted to go somewhere else. How could I wait so long? The hotel saw that I was tough and couldn't win the argument, so they didn't dare to fine me. I checked out, and Ctrip said they didn't apply for a discount Ctrip's service is much worse than last year. Many things take a long time to deal with. If they can't be dealt with, they just go unresolved. It's getting worse and worse. At breakfast, I saw a busload of ********* tour groups. Some of their rooms were facing the vineyard. The tour group was better than where I stayed. There was only one waiter for breakfast to serve a large group of elderly people. I ordered a latte, but it didn't come when I was almost done. I urged him to order more. He served me a cup of black coffee. When I asked him if I wanted a latte, he served me a cup of milk. The noble French couldn't even tell the difference between coffee with milk and latte. With a five-star rating like this, no wonder the rating is only 4.3

The room is very small. Don't believe the comments that you can see the vineyard when you open the window. There are only a few rooms like this. The shower room has no heating facilities, which is really average. Then I don't want to care so much about Zhouche Laodun, but the breakfast is a bit too much. The food is okay, but it is very crowded. There is a beautiful side hall next to it. I asked the waiter clearly if I could go there. I was told that it was only here. Then I found that two other tables were dining in the side hall after dinner. Can you explain it to me? Am I not worthy?

The room was very clean, the kids loved the family room, the hotel service was very good, they made reservations for us at the winery, it's very close to Saint Emilion.
