Wir waren vom 30.11. bis 2.12.24 im Hotel zum Pferdemarkt zu Gast. Schon beim Einchecken wurden wir von einem jungen Mann freundlich begrüßt. Unser Zimmer im 1. Stockwerk war sauber und geräumig. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in der Ortsmitte. Das Frühstück war überaus reichlich, das Abendessen ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich, an unserem Abreisetag wurden wir mit einem unglaublich großen Fühstücksangebot auf unserem Tisch überrascht. Wir waren mit der Hotelauswahl, die unser Sohn für uns getroffen hatte, sehr sehr zufrieden - und sollte sich die Gelegenheit bieten, werden wir wieder gerne hier zu Gast sein!

Hele ruime propere kamers - en badkamer Voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt Lekker ontbijt buffet met eitjes verschillende soorten charcuterie en kazen - yoghurt en vers fruit. Top ligging midden in het centrum van saarburg. Parking 5.50€ achter de hoek

Wir hatten ein Komfort-Doppelzimmer gebucht und haben ein Zimmer mit Dachschräge, einem kleinen Fenster, durch das kaum Licht kommt und einem 1,40 m breiten Doppelbett bekommen. Die Bilder in der Internetseite stimmen leider nicht mit der Wirklichkeit überein. In einem 1,40 m breiten Bett ist über mehrere Nächte kein erholsamer Schlaf mit zwei Personen möglich, da kaum Platz für jede Person ist. Zudem war die Matraze extrem hart und die Kissen sehr durchgelegen, so dass man nach jeder Nacht "gerädert" aufgestanden ist. Im Bad war die Dusche extrem eng und es gab kaum Ablageflächen, obwohl ohne weiteres Platz wäre, z.B. über der Toilette ein Ablageregal anzubringen. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber und wurden jeden Tag ordentlich gereinigt. Das Frühstücksbuffett war in Ordnung, auch mit frischem Obst und Gemüse. Leider gibt es jedoch nur Aufbackware (Brötchen und Croissants). Einzig die Lage besticht, da das Hotel zentral in der Altstadt fußläufig zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten liegt und trotzdem ruhig ist.

Hotel at a nice location in the middle of the centre of Saarburg and very close to the SaarRadweg. Supermarket at 400 m, restaurants and terraces next to the hotel. Kindly reception with good information. Simple, basic room, clean and quiet, but furniture has signs of wear and tear. It was not possible to darken our room, because the roller shutter was not working and there was only a half curtain at the window. Bicycles can be stored in a closed garage.The garage needs a deep cleaning. There are big spiders living there... All in all, it is a good stop along the SaarRadweg.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, wir wurden erwartet. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum, man ist sofort mitten im Geschehen. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll angerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem aber war das Bad extrem klein. Das Preisniveau für Hotels ist in Saarburg insgesamt eigentlich deutlich zu hoch. In diesem Saarburger Niveau ist das Wirtshaus auf dem unteren Preislevel.
