Sehr schönes und gemütliches Hotel zum erholen. Standort, Komfort Wellness und Verpflegung ist sehr zu empfehlen. Das Hotel ist auch ein idealer Ausgangpunkt um Ausflüge mit dem Bike oder Wanderungen zu unternehmen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Perfekter Ort für uns zwischen den Saisons um Abstand zu gewinnen vom Alltag. Personal war super freundlich und charmant. Selbst der Besitzer war zuvorkommend und wusste zu überzeugen mit seiner Art und Weise. Und nicht zuletzt, dass Essen war einfach genial. Gerne wider!

For a visit to friends in Gstaad one night, we were recommended this hotel. Arrival was "interesting" since it seems to be located in a residential area, but once inside it looked very cosy. Very kind and helpful reception staff. Room was basic; can't say anything negative, but also nothing very positive. Was a bit cold and after mentioning that to the reception, they informed us this was due to there green/energy efficient system, but it would get better if we turned the heat up, which we did. Upon returning to our room, it was slightly better, including a distinctive "burning" smell. Breakfast was disappointing. Buffet looks nice, but upon closer inspection, the choices were not great. For the the one night it was fine and it served it's purpose, but I wouldn't recommend it for longer stays in the region. Not close (not walking distance) to Gstaad, nor to the skislopes. No idea in fact why it's located there.

Genoten van een heerlijke week in hotel Spitzhorn. Voelt als thuiskomen in dit fijne familiehotel. Worden altijd hartelijk ontvangen. En de kinderen genieten van de vrijheid die ze ook van de hotelstaff krijgen. We zijn weer heerlijk een week ontzorgd. Genoten van het heerlijke ontbijt, avondeten, de mooie, goed verzorgde kamers, het zwembad en de spa. Veel dank en we komen graag terug.

Wat ons betreft is Hotel Spitzhorn één van de grootste aanwinsten van Gstaad en omgeving. Een heerlijk, gastvrij en perfect gelegen hotel, tussen alle skiliften in. In Hotel Spitzhorn voel je je echt welkom en bieden alle faciliteiten je een heerlijk verblijf! De lobby en bar zijn ontzettend gezellig, borrelen bij de grote openhaard is een must en het restaurant is ook zeer de moeite waard. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en de kamers zijn ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. De spa onder het hotel biedt ook algehele ontspanning en is heel mooi en verzorgd. Ik miste wel een badjas en slippers in de kamer! Het terras van het hotel ligt fantastisch en vol op de zon, ideaal voor een lunch! Kortom een zalig hotel voor een stel, met familie of vrienden maar ook alleen zal je je niet verloren voelen. Dank aan al het personeel, de altijd vrolijke chef van het restaurant en de familie Wichman voor de gastvrijheid en de goede zorgen! Wij komen zeker terug!

I had a wonderful stay here with family
I had a wonderful stay here with family. Room was spacious, comfortable temperature, clean. Spa was also very well kept, pool water temp was also perfect. I must say, this hotel is NOT a 3-star hotel. It definitely feels like 4 star but the staff will make you feel so welcome and accomodate your needs so well, at times you will feel yourself at a 5 star hotel. However, one thing that stuck out is, when I asked if we could use the spa after check out and was told the hotel is fully booked and they weren't comfortable with that. In the 2 days we spent in the hotel the spa was pretty empty so this kind of left a bad taste in our mouths, especially because all the hotels, both 4 and 5 star I have stayed in have allowed guests to continue using spa facilities after checking out. Anyways, the rest of our stay was so nice, and they are probably not obligated to allow us to use the spa, so we can only show understanding here.
