Leading upto the holiday I was worried as some of the reviews were quite poor. However, our family loved our10 nights here and we would definitely go back! Great range of food, drinks and the entertainment was fab! Bingo is a must do! We won 4 times! Pools are well manned by lifeguards and plenty of sun beds to go around at this time of year(end of August) just go down early and put your towel down if you want front row. The only thing that I would improve is although the cleaners came in daily and made our beds, the floors weren’t swept very well and there wasn’t any broom for us to use in the room to make up for it. In the evening there is some things for the kids to do that cost more, but doesn’t break the bank. Thanks for a great family holiday

Not a bad trip. I'd give 3 stars if I could but the hotel doesn't deserve that , its clean, the food is fine and there's everything you would want for kids here, so no complaints, but the camera shoot is a swindle , they wanted nearly €500 for 40 pics and were aggressive when it came to barging, although the photographer was good , there quite pushy and reminding on your photoshoot with no mention of price, basically its €10 a picture and we're adamant on cash, but avoid the whole rip off "we're making memories thing" , its a money thing , other than that can't fault the place, maybe the camera crew couldn't be false firstly and ignore you when they've ripped family's off,

We're coming back from a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly, the pools were excellent and the watermark was fantastic. So much to do everyday. The poolside isn't closed at night so in place of the morning rush you could put towels down at night. There were however plenty of loungers available throughout the day. The food was ok, lots of different types of meat freshly cooked it wasn't always the hottest but cooking on mass while waiting for customers is always going to be tricky to warm. The other guests were also very friendly. Only downside was the evening show wasn't on until 10pm, making it a very long day for little ones. on A brilliant holiday which I would highly recommend x

Travelled with Tui from Dublin to this Splashworld Hotel. 2 Adults & 14 Year old Boy. Located 20 minutes walk from Sa Coma Beach, Bus available during the day. Waterpark is very good open 10:00 - 19:00, self serve soft drinks, Burgers hot dogs chips available all day. Main pool very busy, Reserving of sunbeds starts very early. Shows at night time, Lion king, Michael Jackson, Magic show, and music all enjoyable in the circus tent. All inclusive bar queue very long, Self serve soft drinks. Lots of Optional extras, Bouncing castles €12 a night per child, branded ice cream and drinks, arcade, Popcorn Candyfloss machines. Yes Buffet for all meals is busy as expected, never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a table. Food is standard All inclusive 3 star. Desserts could be better Room was standard, not modern and was quiet adequate for the week. I booked with Tui and noticed the price can vary a lot for this hotel, so don't overpay and pay 5 star price for this hotel. Also found hotels own webite site the price was not competive which is a shame because I would like to book direct at the right price Fly killers are required is all food areas. This is mentioned in a lot of reviews but the hotel seem to be ignorning this. Yes it is a hot climate and flys are expected but an effort has to be made to kill them in food areas. Overall had a very enjoyable week, Would love to go back, but at the right price!

Lads I was so skeptic about booking this having read the reviews but made the last minute plunge and did so… Booked as a package through TUI.. When booking, it was imperative that I needed ground floor accommodation due to mobility problems. This was confirmed by the TUI Travel Assist and apparently confirmed with the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist was so nice. But I was told that they had to charge me an extra €100 euro (that I knew nothing about) because the only ground floor apartment they had for me sleeps 5 and there was 4 of us… so the hotel basically charged me extra for having a disability.. Thinking back on it I should have refused to pay the money… As I said, my 5* rating is based on the staff but unfortunately for them, they are very understaffed for the volume of guests that are staying with them. Meal times were chaotic. We varied the times to see if it would make a difference, it didn’t. According to the hotel information: There’s a big buffet restaurant and a pair of themed eateries, dishing up around-the-world specialities. You’ll also find a barbecue grill place, a poolside bar and a lounge bar. The 2 additional themed eateries are realistically a smaller version of the main buffet restaurant - they’re like mini buffets and offer the same foods alternatively every other night. If you like heavily salted meals, you will not be disappointed. Always guaranteed that each restaurant will have pasta of some sort & pizza. There was no barbecue grill place and even though it was all inclusive, we had to pay in the lounge bar for coffee. We stayed all inclusive at other resorts but this was the first time that ice creams were a disappointment for the children. Other resorts always had some sort of ice cream variation and if not, then a mini version of the known brands. At Bouganvilla, your choice was a small petite filous yogurt sized chocolate/vanilla pot! The kids did enjoy the daily snack offerings of Hot-Dogs, Burgers and chips. The queue for a drink at the entertainment events were also chaotic. There are 2 bars here but only one of them provides drinks for all inclusive guests. 45 minutes was the longest wait that is a complete turn off but again down to not having enough staff to cater for the volume of guests. The other option was to go to the empty bar and buy your drink!! Even spotted other guests bringing their own- probably not a bad idea.. The entertainment was ok but sometimes failed to grasp the attention of 9/10 year olds so you end up having to entertain them on the trampolines, pool tables or arcades which is added expense again. Having said that, the kids seemed to have enjoyed the break away. The hotel has massive potential but unless the staff are supported and cut corners are addressed I cannot imagine any improvement.
