Bluesea Gran Playa

I took my daughters on our first single mum holiday. We had a fabulous time from start to finish. Hotel was spotless and smelled beautiful on arrival. Check in was quick and easy, rooms were adequate for our stay and cleaned/tidied every day. Food was very good, better than I expected. Plenty choice for everyone and being a vegetarian, I had enough choice every day. Pools were lovely (although I didn't go in, preferring the fantastic beach), with ample chairs and sunbeds for everyone. The entertainment was average, people got involved and had fun. The location was excellent, being a short distance from the beach and shops/restaurants. A very safe, family feel to the hotel and resort. On the final day, check out was 11am but we were able to use facilities and eat/drink until our transfer arrived, which was a real bonus-thank you! All in all, a wonderful time was had by all of us, just a shame we had 2 days poor weather!

hotel was like a nightclub ! loud music blasting out all day long & even louder in the evening up until gone 11pm , so loud that even with all windows & doors shut its unbearably loud , had to change room so get further away but made no difference , then had to change room again as the lock broke & we couldn't get in . then we were put back where we started , food is average at best & in-between snacks were just left over cheese & ham from lunch. only 1 staff all day every day at the only bar in the hotel & although we were all inclusive , still had to have money with you as all plastic cups were deposit only . even a cofee was in a plastic cup requiring a deposit , entertainment was rubbish , mainly a guess the tv clip quiz , then back to nightclub music . worst hotel i ever stayed in

We booked via easyjet and didn't realise until afterwards booked we had booked the apartments across the road. We checked in at 1am. Man on reception a little grumpy. We was given a 1st floor as we had requested, room 801 overlooking the apartments pool. Bedroom and the back which was better as when we came back late on a evening there were people in the pool so luckily we couldn't here them. No security at night so people jump in the pool. I did manage to sleep maybe because bedroom on the back. The rooms very dated and in need of a renovation. Shower started off ok but last few days of holiday, one day there was no cold water and luckily I'd just finished washing my hair so could have scalded myself, and last day half way threw my shower the water just trickled out. Not good at all. We had a fridge and kettle in room as it was an apartment. Used the fridge to put water in. Very old rusty fridge. Air con in the apartment was cold but heard in the hotel it was rubbish. So one plus for the apartment. Paid for the safe. Wifi free. Food I found ok tbf. Drinks ok. A self service beer pump and pop at the apartments pool but did notice ants around the pump. Entertainment poor at night, kids dancing, bingo and rubbish entertainment. They had a woman singer one of the days. I found it strange having to pay for luggage lockers if you have a late flight home. There was a shower to use. We managed to get a late check out room until 17.00 for 45euros. Good location. Nice big pools. Plenty of sunloungers. Some of the staff nice, others seemed a little grumpy. Transfer with easyjet took about 1hr 15.

I would advise to not go all inclusive. The food is not great at all and feels like it gets re made into something else the following day. If your a fussy eater you'd find it very hard, we ended up eating out most of the time. It said you could get pizza and chicken etc durng the day but other than burnt chicken dippers under a hot plate all day again useless. All inclusive alcohol cheap and nasty all. Rooms are basic and clean, staying just as a hotel would have been better. Staff are lovely. Pool is fantastic for all ages, beaches are great and very close.
