We had an overnight stay after a long drive from Switzerland. Parking available under the hotel. Refreshing swim in the pool. The restaurant and food were formidable. The staff were friendly, polite young people and were happy and egar to help. The panacota desert was off the scale. Would most certainly return hear.

My car had broken down and my travel insurance had put me into a luxury hotel in central Rouen without explaining why or telling me that there would be a considerable sum of money that I would have to pay. I asked to be moved and they placed me at BritHotel Mont St Aignon. My first impression was that the place was run down - the garden was untidy and full of ****s. Then I saw the notices which explained that it was a wild flower garden specifically to attract butterflies and bees ... the penny dropped. I learned soon afterwards that the hotel was on the edge of a piece of parkland, la Vatine, which I went to explore. I fell in love with the location. Next door to the hotel is a hypermarket where I was able to buy some extra clothes - I had only been travelling with suffient for a single night's stop. My bed was comfortable, my dinner in the restaurant was good, the self-service breakfast was also good. I was treated with respect and kindness by the staff. Je vais retourner ...

The motel room was clean and in good order. The accommodation in general was well presented and gave a good impression. Everything worked well and we were very happy with the facilities. BUT: I had a terrible night's sleep because of the noise from other guests. The occupants of the adjacent room were very noisy until past midnight. Then from 4am onwards until our alarm went off at 7am, there was a succession of other guests leaving the motel. This resulted in numerous slams of room doors vehicle doors .... accompanied by loud talking. Everyone seemed oblivious to the fact that there were other guests trying to sleep. I barely obtained 3 hours of decent rest. We would not book this motel again because of the noise.

Some years ago I stayed in an F1 near Auxerre with friends. The room was quite big, clean & basic. And very cheap & therefore excellent value. A few days ago (driving from Scotland to Asturias) we decided to stop at Rouen & chanced a night at the F1 Sud. We will never stay at an F1 again. The room was tiny (more like a cell) & for HOURS during the night (& well after the supposed quiet time of 10pm) there was shouting, arguing, banging on doors etc. This place felt very unsafe & we couldn't wait to get out at 8am the next morning. More like a hostel for asylum seekers or a halfway house for those being reintegrated into society after a prison stretch than a ”hotel”. And at 55€ it's not even that cheap. AVOID!!!!

The hotel room environment is a bit old, and there is nothing around except 2 barbecue halls. But the breakfast is very rich, the waiters are also super beautiful, a high service attitude, the old gentleman who watched the night is very enthusiastic

Don’t be put off by the star rating!! Myself, husband and two daughters aged 6 and 12 stayed here as an overnight stop off. The room in this hotel was immaculate! Compact yet plenty of space for what we needed. The beds and pillows were comfy, the bed linen was spotless. The bathroom was equipped with plenty of towels, a good shower and a hairdryer. Everything was sparkling clean (and I’m quite fussy). The room had air conditioning and a window that opened fully. The man on reception was incredibly polite and helpful and made us feel welcome. 5 out of 5!

The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. The calm roof level is to be seen again, as soon as no one passes through the corridor the vibrations of his steps resonate in the room, we could also follow the conversation of one of the mitoyan rooms. The ceiling of the bathroom is wet and the paint is scattered into the shower, which does not give a good impression when in hygiene, good point there were 2 wallpapers available.
The bed is of a relatively low range comfort that grins at the least movement.
For the drinks offered with the boiler I was surprised to have milk out for 1 month!

Outstanding
GGuest UserEverything went well except the alarm of the corridor set off at around 01.00 o'clock, we were frightened and stay awake until 3.00, the hotel is good but the mistake ruined everything since the only thing I asked is a good sleep.
Hope Radisson can put more efforts on maintenance to avoid this case from happening again in the future.
WWENKEThe hotel is very new, well decorated, simple and generous.
The location is very good, turn right when you go out and the square
There is a parking garage, but it is too narrow to drive in, and finally parked in a nearby parking lot is not expensive
The size of the room is ok, there is space to open the suitcase, and the bathroom is better decorated and updated
The front desk service attitude was much better when checking out the next day
The disadvantage is that a small piece of blood was found on a pillow, and hygiene needs to be improved.
It would be better if there is a conditioner
Bbruce wWe very much enjoyed our short stay here, our room was just right, well cleaned each day and with a good bed. The staff were lovely, we got lots of interesting tourist information from the front desk and some top notch cocktail and wine service from the bar. The hotel is well located, very near to a long stay car park and a short walk from the town centre, we didn't try the restaurant but the breakfast was a good standard and the general over all feel of the hotel is very cosy and welcoming.
Stayed in room 223 which was in front of hotel. In spite of it being a busy road the soundproofing did its job and there was little outside noise. Roundabout was fun to watch - not so much fun to get out onto when leaving hotel. The room was extremely comfortable. Bathroom had walk in shower and was modern and clean. Breakfast typical of Ibis/Novotel. Selection of breads, cheeses and hams as well as cereals. Nice view over Rouen Rugby ground. I parked in hotel carpark- remember to get code before leaving. Hotel about 20 minutes walk into city centre.
ZzongshengwordThis hotel is marketed as a budget hotel and you may not chose it as it is out of town BUT this hotel is clean and looks just like the pictures, yes there is a bit of bare MDF in the rooms but everything was great. Aircon worked breakfast was plentiful bed very comfortable. We had room 278 and was very quiet as over looked the car park. Parking was on site and they have lifts to all the floors. They have fantastic areas for lounging all with USB ports for devices. Just two minutes up the road up a side street is a funky pop up burger bar that does an array of foods including the best steak I have ever had. The hotel has a save the planet ethos which can be seen with paper cups in the bathroom and decor. It was a real gem staying here and a bus stop only two minutes away takes you into town for 1.7euroes each way. I would never stay in the centre too busy and this hotel gives you the tranquillity you want on a holiday. There is a also a posh pastry shop nearby too
GGuest UserHave used 2x now as a stopover from/to UK. Ticks all the boxes - good price, safe parking, really helpful staff, good breakfast (coffee could always be better!). Also like the view of the rugby pitch behind. Dog friendly also
JjujupolnaTel welcome on Saturday night very well - and on site welcome on Sunday the same gentleman always very nice and professional - the right size room - clean and pleasant - and view on the tours of the cathedral - good literature - a more : a cooker with coffee / tea and sugar - a good size bathroom and quite large shower - good 2 stars - and in the centre of ROUEN 2 steps from the Cathedral and 10 steps from the Seine - we have already come and come back when we come on ROUEN - and Interesting prices - PDEJ : very copious : chocolate-growing bread- tartines - meal toast bread - egg - chocolate cake and abride cake ( quite rare ) hot drink at will - fruit juice : orange or grape or apple - cereals - and fresh fruits: abrikos - orange tranches - in a small well-lighted room - with view of the small place of the Gaillardwood -
No instructions on how to navigate/ find the car park which is hidden underneath the shopping centre. Hotel is very old and is in dire need of some renovation especially the bathrooms and internal corridors. They show photos of the reception area and bed area that somehow make it appear to be nicer/newer hotel. There are plenty of other places to stay in Rouen that are in much better area as this felt very undesirable when stepping out
I spent 3 1/2 weeks staying in this hotel in France with my choir in January 2023. The slidey toilet doors were frustrating, there was an extremely large amount of mould (of which only a very small amount was dealt with), the key cards had an annoying habit of randomly cancelling, the shower took forever to warm up, and the receptionists could range from bored and curt, to really friendly. However, the breakfast was big and filling, the old, small lift was charming, and it was nicely located. Although I probably woudn't stay there again, the hotel was perfectly adequate for my time in France.
