We selected this hotel for its location close to the cruise port ( directly across the street). It’s an older hotel but great location and restaurant was great. Wish they had at least an iron or steamer along with a hair dryer.
Overall we would recommend. Elevator is small and stairs access the floors. A little tricky getting your luggage up the hotel entrance to the lobby. If you travel light it’s ok.

The people were all very friendly, the hotel was very clean, food was excellent. Easy to get to the center. Beautiful views. A great atmosphere.

Mooi nostalgisch hotel. Ontbijt is goed. Bedden zijn goed. Wel echt enorm verouderd, stoffig en behoorlijk overpriced.

Fantastic aesthetic, the smell is divine (Fayr I believe) the beds are very comfortable, the room is full of personality in a not over the top way. The shower was lovely. Views, the restaurants and the location. We will be back periodically to visit family and to stay.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, wir haben uns ein Zimmer mit Flussblick gegönnt. Das war besonders schön. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Mit dem Wassertaxi (Anlegestelle direkt am Hotel) ist alles sehr gut erreichbar und ein Erlebnis. Wir haben abends noch im Restaurant an der Bar gesessen. Die Einrichtung ist wunderschön. Ein besonderes Feeling mit historischem Flair. Wirklich ein besonders schönes Hotel. Sauberkeit, Freundlichkeit, unkomplizierter Check in. Alles top

De directeurssuite is een aanrader: ruim en met een super uitzicht op de Maas en skyline van Rotterdam en het gebouw is prachtig. Het ontbijt is achterhaald zoals in de meeste hotels, niets plantaardigs en the usual. Voor €24 pp kun je beter Rotterdam in voor een goed ontbijt. En dat ondanks het restaurant best goed is.
