I strongly recommend staying at another hotel.
We arrived around 11pm, and for some reason the police were there and went inside the hotel. It was noisy outside for about 30 minutes, which made us feel uneasy.
Everything is just old. Some of the rooms and the bathrooms seem to have been renovated, but the hallways, rooms, and shower rooms all stink. The shower room even had a strong smell of air freshener, probably to cover up the smell.
Our room was on the first floor, but the window would not close completely. It faced the hotel's courtyard, and although it had an internal lock, it was easy to open, so we were scared and could hardly sleep.

The hotel’s room is big and clean. Though the design is a bit old-fashioned but that is ok with us.
Staff are friendly and the location is great ! Really convenient ! Everywhere we wanted to go to is within walking distance or could take the MRT train from the Stadhuis station. This station is the nearest to this hotel. From the Central Station to this hotel, it is about 8 to 10mins walk.
There are many eateries, restaurants, supermarket and shopping areas nearby. Many burgers outlets around. Some even open till 11pm. Do take note that other eateries close earlier like 8pm or 9pm.
Though there is no air-con but there is a standing fan available. The TV is clear and is in working condition. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is spacious.
The only thing that disappointed us was the elevator. It was not working for the 3 nights stay here. The staff was very kind, she arranged for us to stay on the 1st floor. Hence, fewer steps for us to carry our luggages up.

The only advantage of the hotel is that it is close to the train station and there is a large supermarket nearby. However, the hotel's service attitude is not very good. We went to the check-in in advance to put down our luggage first. The front store clerk said that there was only enough space for two suitcases. Fortunately, After we finally moved, we were able to put all our luggage. What was even worse was that when we returned to the hotel at night, we were told that the only elevator in the hotel was broken. Our room was on the fourth floor and we had to carry our luggage to the room by ourselves. There was no air conditioning or toilet in the room. It's a pump-type flushing system. You can't flush the toilet even if you press it until your hand breaks. After opening the window, the noise from the street is very noisy. I can't sleep well all night!
