Hotels with Rooftop Pools in Athens

"The Candia hotel was a very short and easy walk with a lot of luggage from the train station. I was able to check in an hour earlier than they state in the information and the receptionists were very helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the underground station in Thessaloniki from there it was a short train ride ( very exciting if you get a front seat) to all the museums and centre. The room at Candia was very large with a big bathroom and was very comfy, clean and relaxing. There are shutters in the windows that was good for the mornings. Nd the sun did not wake me up! Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of hot and cold food. I especially liked the fruit and yoghurts with an array of extra bits for healthy toppings. The swimming pool was lively and I had fun in the sun. There were plenty of staff to help there and make my stay fabulous. The views from the top of the hotel were great and I wished I’d taken some images! Thessaloniki has a lot to offer travellers who enjoy culture, which is why I chose to stay there."

"Aile olarak gittik ve yaş ortalaması yüksek bir grup olmasına rağmen herkes çok memnun kaldı. Odaları çok temiz. Her gün havlular değişti oda temizlendi. Kahvaltısı yurtdışı standartlarinin çok üzerindeydi. Meyvesinden kuru yemişine kadar her şeyi düşünmüşler. Bir daha Atina'ya gitsem yine bu otelde kalırım. Ayrıca personellerin hepsi güler yüzlü ve samimiyetle yaklaştı. En son gün otelden çok erken ayrılmamız gerekiyordu. Kahvaltınin ücreti önceden ödendiği için 11 kişiye ayrı ayrı kahvaltı paketi hazırlayıp verdiler. Havaalanında yedik ve yumurtaya kadar koymuşlar. Mükemmeldi çok teşekkür ediyorum 🙏🏻"

"The only downside: I'm 6'3” (190cm) tall with shoes on, and the bed is just long enough to lie flat. If I lie on my stomach, it's a bit too short. When I lie flat, the blanket is also a little short; it doesn't quite cover me from my feet to my shoulders comfortably, but I still slept pretty well. The location is great, it's clean and tidy, and the facilities are comprehensive. There are even toilets and showers in the hallway. The rooftop closes at 9 PM and has chairs and a pool with a view of the Acropolis. The rooms have air conditioning. The staff are polite and professional. Bedding is changed daily, and any requests can be made at the front desk."

"Location is nice in close to Athens center and on the beach, not the nicest (Voula, voullagmeni) the road in front of the hotel is very busy. The pool on the roof is perfect, beautifull view from rooftop, breakfast is also excellent, staff is very friendly. The beds room were very clean, the shower good be done cleaner. But in total a very good hotel"

"I was able to book a hotel in Athens, Greece through Trip.com, and the price was excellent. The hotel's rooftop offers breathtaking views, perfect for watching the beautiful sunset. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for getting around. The subway station is just a few blocks away, providing easy access to the city center and the airport. Plus, there's a large supermarket nearby. Definitely recommend!"

"Divani Caravel Hotel delivered a genuine 5-star experience right in the heart of Athens. The hotel is big, spacious, and elegant, offering a very comfortable and luxurious stay. I requested a special surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday at midnight, and the team organized everything perfectly exactly as expected. The attention to detail and care made the moment truly special. We also used the spa and enjoyed a massage, which was excellent and very relaxing. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of options, the staff were friendly and professional, and the small Christmas gift was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The location is excellent, with easy access to all major attractions. Overall, a classy hotel with outstanding service highly recommended for a special stay in Athens."

"I traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!"

"7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available."

"The guest relation manager John iş the best told him it was my mama birthday he organized it amazing gifted us two bottles of wine and macarons . Even write a handwritten letter, very cute thank you. The hotel breakfast was bomb , pool is small not like in the pictures . Room amazing stylish , fancy . Everything great . Thanks John"
