Hotel la Fuente de la Higuera

We enjoyed 3 beautiful days in La Fuente De La Higuera. Too good to recommend. We would prefer to keep this hotel a secret for us. Surrounded all the time by nice people you don't want to leave this place. Here you find a peaceful place where you can simply dive in and relax.

We were kindly welcomed and given good advice for what we wanted to do in the area. The meals served were excellent and we especially enjoyed dinner for both nights of our stay. They use fresh and quality ingredients and the cost was better than eating in a restaurant. Our room was big and very comfortable.

We traveled to Ronda after a couple of busy days in Madrid and Seville. What a wonderful experience at this hotel!! Beautiful room (we had room #2), gorgeous, peaceful property and outstanding service!!! We traveled by train but it was easy to call for a cab to and from the town center. A magical experience!!

We were delighted to be back yet again at one of our favourite and special places. Our favourite room is number 5 with its lovely terrace and wonderful views across the valley towards Ronda and beyond. The atmosphere was as restful and peaceful as ever and the food was excellent. Friends came to join us and they loved their visit and intend to return. We will be back of course next year.

Just back yet again from our favourite country house hotel set within beautiful gardens and breath taking stunning scenery. Lovely welcome ‘home’ from the team of friendly staff making our stay as special as always with that personal touch. Just put your feet up, relax and enjoy! What’s not to like? This is a characterful and unique property surrounded by flowers, fruit trees, lush greenery and olive groves. The 11 rooms & suites are individually decorated with interesting furniture, paintings and soft furnishings with splashes of different colours. Each has a terrace or patio which provides your own private sanctuary to lie back, read a book or enjoy a cool drink from the honesty bar whilst you dream about doing nothing… Dinner is our highlight; we always dine in! This is fine dining which always delights with flavoursome local produce expertly and freshly prepared by the talented chefs. Instrumental music drifts across the warm air to the tables on the terrace set with lamps, elegant glassware and crisp linen. Excellent choice of local wines complements our experience as dusk falls, and the lights twinkle across the valley… Sadly, there is no cure. We will be back!!

Beautiful facilities and property, a true pleasure to stay here. Would stay again.
