The service seemed very enthusiastic and would solve any problems we raised, but it was very unreasonable. There were only three cars in the parking lot when we arrived at 10pm. I don't understand why they arranged us in the room behind the reception when there were available rooms. It was not part of the main guest room at all. Therefore, the room was completely different from the pictures. The door opened to the parking lot, the bathroom window also faced the parking lot, and the courtyard was also a public area. There was no sense of security. It can be seen that this is a small hotel that is run with care, but it is really unreasonable to treat Asian customers who come from far away differently.

Amazing location, beautiful hotel and room, very spacious, clean and cosy. The hospitality and staff are incredible. Highly recommend for couples and will definitely come back.

It has everything to be a 5*, but devil is in the details... Room was not very clean, it has the smell from the fireplace (and we are on the summer, so not normal to still be felt this way unless lack of cleaning), too much dust everywhere specially behind beds, the hot tube on the terrace still had water inside that had a lot of garbage (come on, at this price tag it should have been clean before our arrival)... both terraces were not clean, lacking some attention... Again at this price tag I'm not expecting things to be neglected, they need to be perfect.

Spacious and tastefully decorated suites. Relaxing off the beaten path location. Pleasant & helpful staff. Offere welcome smoothie. Yummy! Still had to drag our own bags up stairs. Felt like such a special and unique place. A real gem overall. We were 7 people and stayed 2 nights. Wished we had stayed longer. Dinner prices were too expensive for us. Would have loved to just stay and eat dinner there.

A wonderful multi-generational family run hotel about 20 minutes out of Ronda. Large beautifully decorated rooms are centred around an internal courtyard full of plants. Large cool dining space with an esoteric CD collection and honesty bar. Delightful pool within a walled garden, which was never crowded as there are only around 8 rooms. The hotel serves 3 meals a day, including some of the best food I have eaten in Spain. Outside guests to restaurant are welcome, especially for lunch.

This is a beautiful property. The food & service are top notch. After touring Rondo & area we took advantage of the pool. We had a lovely private deck. Three hour (+) dinners sitting outside admiring the view were perfection. You can remain private or enjoy pleasant conversation with other guests -- your choice.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at Hotel la Fuenta de la Higuera. The view is simply unbeatable and great to take in over a lovely breakfast, lunch, dinner or simply a glass of wine. The food is that of the highest quality and prepared with local products (the olive oil is a killer!) which makes each meal a feast. The brand new outdoor furniture is stylish and so is the decoration of the room. We love the personal touch that the owners have added, from tastefully chosen art pieces to a pretty unique CD collection. Our room was large, the mattress of high-quality and lovely with our own private terrace by the rose garden. The swimming pool is just perfect to cool down between visiting Ronda or other activities (we did some incredible horseback riding in the area and wished we had stayed longer). We will definitely be back in this little paradise!

Entree majestueuse de lauriers, accueil tres chaleureux par la proprietaire de l’hotel, vues a couper le souffle sur l’Andalousie, au calme et jardín magnifique et tres bien entretenu, tres belle demeure avec grandes Terrasses et piscine.possibilite de diner a l’ hotel, excellente cuisine, nous occupions la chambre suite 11, style authentique, salle de bain tres comfortable avec bain et douche, petit salon donnant sur la terrasse privee, en ce qui nous concerne, nous aurions apprecie avoir un petit frigo privé dans la chambre et un nespresso et du lait pour le petit cafe au reveil, un grand merci pour tout, Juan y María
