The hotel had no running air conditioning. However, they did bring us a portable room air conditioner. The problem with that was it blew hot air out of the back of the machine and heated up the room. Cleanliness of the floors, especially along the wall, was not good.

Ho soggiornato all’Hotel Traiano durante un recente viaggio a Roma e non posso che lasciare un commento più che positivo. La posizione è semplicemente perfetta, a pochi passi dai Fori Imperiali e comodissima per raggiungere a piedi molte delle principali attrazioni della città. The hotel location is perfect, right in the heart of Rome, walking distance and close to all attractions Rooms modern with all amenities, really nice bathroom, comfortable beds. The hotel Staff are exceptional, especially Fabio and the girls at reception. On the day of my birthday the balloon and chocolates in the room was a really nice surprise and shows the class and attention to detail of the staff. Would definitely come back again!

Very good hotel. Staff friendly and helpful including questions being answered before we arrived. Rooms are clean, well equppied, toilettries, kettle with refreshments and fridge which was stocked but still had room for bits. Aircon great and could use you tube easily on tv. Safe in room. Breakfast was excellent. Right opposite Trajan's market so superb location. Would love to return.

Very friendly staff The hotel is not exactly a 4 star. Many details leave much to be desired. No bathrobes despite the stars. But for a weekend... It's a shame not to have booked online and spent €100 more. Very close to everything next to the Altar of the Fatherland

Superbly located hotel close to many tourist attractions. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast is plentiful and offers a wide selection. The only downside is that the rooms facing the street would need more opaque windows as the hotel is very busy. But other than that, it's perfect.
