I was booked by my firm at this hotel. As multiple review state it’s a cross between a youth hostel and guest house. It’s in an office building if you have luggage for a vacation (i didn't) you will need to take multiple trips on the tiny old lift to the fifth floor reception then more trips down to the fourth floor where rooms are. OK as a Two stars at the very best but this is advertised as a 4 stars. I used an online app and moved myself into another hotel. If you’re looking for a higher quality touristic experience or travelling for business AVOID this hotel. On my way out I asked for a taxi as I was going to another hotel. Not even a question about whether there was a problem, anything they could do. Not hospitality — just a scam sadly

Abbiamo soggiornato per i giorni di Natale. Posizione ottima, in zona ben frequentata e sicura (vicino ambasciata Usa). Hotel in un palazzo storico curato, con camere adeguate anche se si consiglierebbe di ammodernizzare la TV (con una smart) e mettere a disposizione in bagno un phon migliore e maggiori prodotti per lavarsi. Materasso, cuscini, armadio etc tutto bene. Colazione di fatto da B&B rispetto ad un 4*, migliorabile con poco prevedendo maggior varietà, quantità e qualità. Complessivamente ci siamo trovati bene, è una buona soluzione che potrebbe sfruttare al meglio le potenzialità a disposizione. Bene.

Bang on average, nicer hotels around for same money also not the best location, not much around. Walls are dirty and curtains have stains. The walls are so thin, can hear every toilet flush through the pipes. Room is okay size does the job but had a bad smell. 4th floor, lots of stairs and very small lift. Wouldn’t recommend

Poorly functioning AC
Fine, small room, and staff was lovely. The main issue: the room was advertised as having AC, but the little AC unit was really struggling, and couldn't keep up with the Rome summer heat. The staff checked the unit for us and assured us it was operating at max capacity, and explained that there was nothing else they could do. (From their point of view, the unit wasn't malfunctioning.) It was ~95-100 degrees outside and probably ~85 degrees in our room for the duration of our stay. It was horribly uncomfortable and hard to sleep; if we were staying longer than two nights, we would have switched hotels. I would avoid staying here again during the summer.
